2) Retirement? Pshaw. It was about time. The haters need to get that this announcement only affects larger scale tournaments. Since prize kits are now bought and venues are not tied to an approved play program, they can do whatever they want for tournaments. Pogs only 1000 point battle royals? Go for it!

Well, it looks like I'm still employed for now.

Friday I had a "discussion" with one of my bosses behind closed doors. During the discussion this boss denied doing something that they had done a few times. Rather than beat my head against a wall I said the conversation was over and went back to my desk to work. Not wanting me to have the last word, the boss brought the conversation to the floor where it got heated. I was sent home to cool off.

I figured I'd be canned. Because we have a small late shift I decided to go in later Friday night and clear my personal stuff off my desk. That way I did the "walk of shame" in front of 3 people instead of the entire office on Monday. When I got there my security badge didn't work so it looked like I was right.

The boss called me on my cell phone yesterday and I just wasn't taking it. Figured whatever needed to be said, could be said on voice mail. Joke's on me I guess because the message requested a call back. Returned the call today and was told I was expected in regular time on Monday and that was just to cool me off.

The problem becomes that I know I'll be expected to recant what I said, and I refuse. So like I said, I'm employed for now.

Bud, if you get fired, apartment 3 is still open!

Unfortunately, I'm rooted here for a while. Before the mom passed, I promised to take care of the grandmom and the dad. Grandmom's moved on but dad is still here in all his drunken rage. As an added bonus I have crazy 42 year old sister in the house with no job, a tendency to break things (washer + fridge) and a new found desire to snatch groceries and take them to the second baby daddy's house (he's begun to fancy himself as a professional poker player).

Plus Bill the cat is a bit emotionally unstable and a move would do him no good. Gosh, I hope the cats die first.

In all honesty, I could care less that OBL is dead. He DIDN'T kill anyone. He was a fragile old man who was nothing more than a figurehead. If someone told me Chuck Norris died, I would die.

Guy had cousins and sons and wives out the wazoo. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the CIA didn't pay Joe Bob bin Laden or some other non-jihadist relative a whole bunch of money to get a blood sample on file that would serve exactly this purpose.
