Very interesting movie about how a crazy chick steped on the relationship between Dr. Freud and his friend.
Also and more important: Keira Knighte getting slap and licking it. But she was SO skinny on this movie, even for my taste. and crazy beyond the normal standard limits..
I tried to get through The Zookeeper this weekend. I trust Hollywood convention and expect the main character catches the realized female interest before the movie ends. There is a fun cavalcade of celebrities voicing all the animals though.
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.
I can also see this film being used as a teaching example in business classes everywhere for any number of reasons from observing management styles to negotiations and more.
I think that the most important business lesson to be learned is this: if you have developed a secret formula that lets your professional sports team succeed at a fraction of the cost of your competitors, it's *maybe* not the best idea to spell out all the details of that formula in a book. I mean, there's a reason why Col. Sanders never published something called "What Makes My Chicken So Danged Tasty in 12 Easy Steps."

Probably might want to change it: sell the secret formula for your sports team and then drop your sports team because of all the money you'll make by selling them out.
Eh . . .
I have no sekrets, I just am.

My understanding was they didn't write the book, but rather the book was written years before by a night shift security guard at a factory. It was Beane that applied the book in practice.
But yeah, why brag about it?

Some of it was funny. I can appreciate the view of crappy workers and a boss trying to hold things together. But really, a plot that's driven by bad choices being made in stupid ways just tends to make me care less and less about the people involved. The ending wasn't much of a resolution to things and people didn't seem to get punished enough for their bad choices, so I just don't encourage anyone to bother.
Strangely I also worked with a lot of people in RL who didn't get punished enough for bad choices.
And I agree completely with your review.
Having worked in an environment similar to this it struck really close to home in a relatable way - I could watch that movie and place real life names on all the characters in it. It's very accurate in that regard.
