I beat my buddy Rob Galpin in my very first game of Magic: The Gathering last night!!! I used a black/red vampire deck and destroyed his white/blue spirit deck. Then I beat the snot out of him in HeroClix. My 400pt Monster theme team took out his 400pt Spy theme team. I used Doomsday w/ Alias & Protected, Bizarro-Girl w/Alias, and Composite Superman at 80pts. He had Ursa, Kryptonian Infiltraiter, Human Target, Invisible Kid, and Element Girl w/Streak Of Luck. Then I finished the night off by playing some Assassin's Creed!!! It was a good gaming night for me!!!

It's a great feeling when you beat somebody who seems to always get the best of you whether they are a friend or not. I know that Jeremiah gets great joy out of beating me (The few times THAT happens )

Yeah, I think the record (Not that I'm keeping track or anything) of the past couple of years is something like 20-2

We have fun every time we play, though, so that's what counts anyways.

And even when I loose, its usually a close game. Although sometimes I play poorly built Celebrity teams, and all the Asgardian empowered water foul in the world ain't gonna help that win.

Do you have a list for black/red vampires? There have been a LOT of those floating around, so I'm interested to see how it compares to mine. Is it Standard or something else? Vampires are a ton of fun to play now.

The only two black vampires that I know about are Blade and Blackula.
