I had time to kill so I drove down to Ankeny to check for more since so many people seem desperate to get them. They didn't have them either. The odd thing is, I was at Target yesterday earlier in the day and the Movie Avenger set wasn't out. Then a little later had to stop by and suddenly saw it. So they can appear at any moment.

He is Brutal, i dont for see him dropping below $50 because of his playability and who the fig is.. Being able to use power cosmic be a wild card, AND use all your opponents TAs while having shape change, super senses.?... Ah Good old Ankeny, god I don't miss living there... Wait Ankeny has a Target????? WTH... When I lived there they had a grocery store, a gas station, and a movie theatre. I remember when SW: RotJ came the whole town closed down for the day. They showed Bambi followed by SW: RotJ. The entire theatre was full. And I mean full. Kids were sitting right up against the screen, in the isles, Parents standing in the back of the theatre... I'm pretty sure 3/4 the town was in that 1 theatre..

Times, they have changed. Ankeny sold out from that small town atmosphere and is an expand as much as possible Des Moines suburb now. National retail chains all over the place. They took the mantra of if your not growing your dying and have attempted to push it into overdrive. It's now the "cool" place to live. I am not sure that anyone who actually lives in Ankeny works in Ankeny. No less than 4 (might be more) of my fellow officers commute to Ames from Their homes in Ankeny.

That's great to hear. I haven't been back to that town since 95. I moved away in 84/85? It's nice knowing that it's grown so much... What about Norwalk? That's where I moved after we left Ankeny.

Are any of you guys that are in the Mid West?(Never understood that term) going to the Cedar Rapids tourney next Saturday? I'm going, and I look forward to meeting a lot of fellow realmsers face to face..

I plan on being there. Long drive, but a large enough event to warrant it.
