Parenthood?
Gilmore girls, no actual father but father figures , luke, gramps
Even the father shows up from time to time
Actually, yeah gg is an excellent show about fathers
I am blissfully unaware and ignorant of anything Pokemon related, starting with the TCG, TV cartoon, movies, video games, etc etc etc. And all is fine and good with the Universe.
Eh, I grew up during that time period...and nearly every boy and some girls played/ Watched the show.
I will say I never got into the TCG, but I did enjoy the original games, and when they basically rereleased them for GBA I bought those....All this "New" Pokemon stuff, I don't know about I'm all about the original 150, and haven't even bought any version of the game boy past GBA.
As it is though, it was so addictive, and a great way to waste time trading and fighting your friends, bragging about your ultimate team, and devising a strategy of how to approach the fights (shrug). Plus using the glitch on the original to get infinite items that were in your sixth slot.
I mean its like any game really, people still watch cartoons as an adult so I don't find it anymore childish than that.
Are there any good shows about Fatherhood. Preferably comedic, though dramatic would be fine as well.
Home Improvement was great back in the 1990s and Last Man Standing is Tim Allen's newest show. Both feature some fatherly angst for teenagers. For younger children, I don't know anything current.
Like I said, Pokemon I'm sure are decent, but I'm just not a fan of the motif. You know how some people like the horror genre or the sci-fi/space genre. It's more my dislike for the genre. If any of you pokemon fans also play WoW, how does Pokemon compare with the new pet battle mechanic?
Yeah...its the same one...Kind of surprising since they don't allow new users to post in the regular forum until they get masked or something or at least I thought that's what they did.

Married with Children? There's a new one I think starting soon where the dad becomes stay at home while the moms goes to work though the name of it escapes me at the moment. There's also Men with Kids, also 8 simple rules, George Lopez, eight is enough, and there is probably more that wasn't already said but they are escaping me at the moment...
There were two teams. An archeologist group from 2012, and one from 1937. We had to work together to fix time, as one of our members had created a paradox, trying to save his grandfather's life.
So we had to solve puzzles, run from boulders, operate stargates, watch a couple human sacrifices, and such in order to get time flowing again and ensure that it would not stop when the Mayan calendar rolls into the 13th era.
Basically, someone had constucted a Mayan pyramid in their yard taller than their house, turned their house into a Mayan temple with a bunch of tunnels, and we explored and solved it.
