Do you have to chase him? As a non-parent I know for certain that toddlers are like boomerangs and will always come back.
I've spent more time in Charleston when I worked for AIG then I ever cared to. Look for a place called the High Cotton. Happy Hour is 4-7. They have great jazz music live.
