I, also, cannot sleep. A nasty storm knocked out the power. The sump pump, I'm assuming, is making a beeping/thumping sound every ten seconds now.

I WAS sleeping through it until The Girl had the BRILLIANT idea to wake me thinking I could do something about it.

Sure, I'll just go grab Mjolnir, call down the lightning, and get the power back on or something.

The worst part is that I'm fairly certain that she's asleep again and now I'm not, dammit.

You guys and your silly sleep. I, much like the last Chuck Norris before me, do not sleep, but rather simply wait. Did I forget to mention I'm Chuck Norris? Oops.

On a barely related note, my oldest brother who is gaming recluse wants to come down for an X-Wing game in June at the shop. When he told me this, I almost fell over backwards.

Neato! I got a tourney pushed back at the offending venue so you'd have at least two more people show for Star Wars (DJMBilbo had forgotten about it ).

I don't mind you playing at other venues. I do mind you helping that particular shady venue succeed.

Bigbob bested me at AvX 4 at the offending venue last night. Was a double elimination tourney so after losing to him in the first round I had to beat him two more times to win Cyke. It came down to the map roll. My team could sneak across the moon and win but got tore up in the Japanese courtyard (Bob's team had too much range, TK and running shot). Had a blast though.


How do we measure this success?

Despite sharing a last name, Chuck and I are not related as far as I can tell, and I have a well documented family tree that goes over 400 years on that side of the family.
