It was a busy day for the town. They pounced on someone that didn't seem to be from the area. She had thought she escaped the town's wrath, but she couldn't escape one of them. Shaken by the turn of events, the town felt it best to let the night fall with the body they already had.

Night 2 starts now. You have 24 hours to get in your actions.

Night 2

A woman took her normal dawn break run when she saw a trail of blood. Blood never made her queasy, but after yesterday her anxiety was at an all-time high. The people that passed through this area tend leave quickly, but some of them seemed to be setting down roots. She wasn’t sure how she felt about that turn of events. When she arrived, she knew that her research was important, potentially species saving. There was no one around and she liked that unlike some others she knew. They weren’t seeing the benefits of the seclusion, but she did and that was all that mattered to her. Still a trail of blood is an anomaly in this area, so she followed the trail. Within moments she came upon a figure in a mask that had a large puncture wound in their sternum. Franticly, she grabbed the walkie talkie and called for help and supplies. Soon another woman arrived. The first woman had stabilized the figure, but they still had to get back to their compound, if they wanted to save the figure’s life. She worked deftly but by the end of the night she knew the figure would live. What she didn’t see, however, was another figure, not far from the spot she found the bleeding one, beaten and lying unconscious.

Elsewhere, a woman enters an office building, she wasn’t sure what she would find. But she thought it to be a good use of her time to rummage as her last find was something she was sure she could use. The stench was overpowering, she wouldn’t spend much time in here, but she did find at least one thing that may be useful later.

Not far away or long before all of this activity happened, a woman was walking around with a camera. After yesterday, she knew she had a good lead on the “so called” last man. All she really needed was proof and she was finally be able to leave that rag she worked for and go retire somewhere nice. The short term benefits of all this was that mosquitoes died pretty quickly as did a lot of the biting bugs that one dealt with on a tropical island. A flash of movement to her left got her attention. She creeped slowly in that direction and she finally saw proof that all the males did not go away. She snapped her picture, maybe it won’t be enough to retire yet but she’ll get a pretty penny for it. Or at least she would have, if not shot dead a moment later.
