I see a lot of people comparing Parasite to Gideon and saying that he's overcosted. Keep in mind that Gideon has to make a die roll to copy powers. Plus, I don't think his is tied to outwit. Parasite unfortunately can't borrow from teammates, but he can outwit a character and instantly borrow that power (WITH NO FEEDBACK DAMAGE!!!! F I N A L L Y!!!!)
Gideon's a nice guy who just wants to borrow your powers. Parasite is a dick and he wants to take them and run away with them. Big difference, even if Parasite isn't getting powers from his buddies. Frankly you probably wouldn't want him to do that.

I'd say (ESPECIALLY in the case of that Superman) that the best move might be to Outwit his Hypersonic Speed, take a gamble on hitting through his Impervious, then book it. Depends on who's backing him up, I guess.
I guess I couldn't see taking that chance to try to get 1 click through on Superman for a power I'd lose by the start of my next turn. But, sure, if he had an ally who could Outwit Superman's Impervious I might do that.
He may turn out to be interesting to play, but the right allies will be very important, and it's likely to bug me that he has such a single-minded interpretation of his ability... presumably in the name of simplicity and game mechanics/cost control.
Side note: I'm off to see They Might Be Giants on Friday, and the opening act is Jonathan "Still Alive" Coulton! Yay! More jazzed to see him than I am TMBG, truth be told (this'll be the 3rd time seeing them - wife's a huge fan).
So I started to read the first sentence above and was struck by the thought that I'd found a fellow fan of that George C. Scott movie (with Joanne Woodward, Grandpa Al Lewis, Jack Gilford and Bea Arthur sidekick Rue McClanahan!!).
Then I read more, which served to remind me that I'm not quite as hip as I sometimes like to think I am.
Well, so much for wondering whether you consider "They Might Be Giants" a Sherlock Holmes movie...
But, hey, enjoy the show!
Tim Burton was right: "A square jaw does not a Batman make." Steve Buscemi as the next Batman! Luke Perry as Joker! Let's make it happen!
Sounds like we still need another Parasite before we get an accurate one.
He should be able to steal powers from anybody he's close to.
Hard to tell but I don't think I like that sculpt either.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.

He could just outwit Superman's impervious thus gaining it himself and then charge in for three damage.

Re: Parasite
He didn't look to over costed to me. The full dial steal energy is nice and will let him stay up top. I could see him positively murdering a pile of minions.
Re: Joco and tmbg
Enjoy! I'm amused that Joco is now thought of as the "Still Alive"
[hipster voice] Back when I started listening to him when I was in college, he was the thing a week guy [/hipster]
He did a new song every week for a year, several were quite good. Check out his cover of baby got back.
The person that won first had a similar idea, but did a full Chicago Bears logo with all of the "Shadow" on the logo in the right place. It was extremely well done with a high degree of difficulty. Jonna accepted defeat at the hands of the "Better Man."

Mario jumps on the heads of Chicago Bears and knocks them out.
Then he eats a mushroom and blasts everyone in Soldier Field with fireballs before putting on his cape and flying away over Lake Michigan.
