Like many hot topics, there are very few people who ever change their stance so it's best to either view it as a practice in your debating skills or to just pass on the discussion entirely.
I've learned the pass on the discussion the hard way, especially during elections. One of my friends was posting literally every minute during the debates about Obama lying. Needless to say she is not our backup daycare person anymore. I ain't a Democrat mind you, but the unbridled hatred was too much.

Very true, don't risk exposure because others are making a poor choice.
In other news, I attended Clix night tonight and scored LE Lei Kung the Thunderer!!!! (And one of my sealed boosters contained SR Shaman, the other one War Machine Prime!!!)
AvX has been treating me okay so far, I must admit.

So I decided to go ahead and take the job. There's enough "good" there, that I'm going to try it out. I went on a second interview and a field interview, they answered my questions satisfactorily and I actually got to see how it works and what they do. I figured try it out, if it does turn out too good to be true, I've only been set back a couple of ####ty jobs since there was an issue this semester with school and I have to wait anyway, if it does work out, then I can make some good money.
I Think the biggest thing is that I'm not actually asking the homeowner to spend any money on a purchase, just getting them to agree to have their home owner's insurance to do what they're paid for.
So, response to my first Generic Mafia game seems positive, so a sequel is in the works. There is a sign up thread in the appropriate section. So, if you are interested, sign up!
In other news, I played Werewolf for the first time in real life at a board game party this weekend. I thought I was not that great at this game yet, but I was analyzing the game so that I knew who everyone was pretty much after night one. I started dying night one every time. I was much better then all but one person there. I guess I just compare myself to you guys on here, but I am actually not that bad, compared to the average gamer.

A weird key to mafia is being good but being perceived as being bad, in order to ensure survival.

Yeah, gfish and I played the in-person version of this together many times with some regular folks, and they gunned for us both. More often than not we would get lynched early even if we weren't scum due to not wanted to deal with our devious power plays and schemes.
Well done though, very prompt opening and closing along with what I'm sure were some challenging vote counts.
