I learned something today. Any time we submit a doc to the State with a foreign word in it, we have to provide a translation of the word. I formed an entity called Shobu. Thinking that had to be a Japanese word, I did a google search. What I found out is that it is actually slang for stupid (SHOrt BUs). I thought that was funny!
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.
Sometimes vlad goes MIA from my venue for several months.
I wonder if my Friday the 13th scenario this week will change that.
This Friday's game (01/13/2017) will be a 500 point golden age event requiring at least one character with the Monster keyword.
At the beginning of each game, the highest point character with the Monster keyword on each force (the controller chooses if there is a tie) becomes that force's Bad Guy.
The Bad Guy has these traits in addition to his usual game effects.
Out Of Nowhere: At the beginning of your turn roll 1d6. On a result of 6 the Bad Guy may immediately use Phasing/Teleport as a free action with a locked speed value of 12, and after actions resolve, if the Bad Guy is adjacent to an opposing character it immediately makes a close combat attack as a free action using Blades/Claws/Fangs as if a close combat action had been given.
The End?: When the Bad Guy is KO'd add him to your sideline instead of removing him from the game.
The Sequel: If the Bad Guy is on your sideline when your turn begins roll 1d6. On a result of 6 place the Bad Guy in your starting area and turn its dial to the click on which he began the game and modify the Bad Guy's combat values by +1 for the rest of the game.

For "The End?", does that happen every time he's KO'd, or just the 1st time?

shobu. Keywords: Go term. 勝負 (Shoubu). A Japanese word meaning a game or match, consisting of the characters for win (勝) and loss (負). A shoubugo is a serious, competitive game as opposed to a teaching game (shidougo).
For "The End?", does that happen every time he's KO'd, or just the 1st time?
The intention is that it happens every time he's KOed. As he is KOed, the +1 modifier from The Sequel would be fresh each time, so he wouldn't have +2 if he comes back twice.

Just watch Disney's Jungle Book. Life is great, you're hanging out in your underwear, eating fruit with a talking bear, dancing with monkeys. Then you see a cute girl batting her eyes at you and next thing you know you're in a dress shirt and khakis stuck in a cubicle for 60 hours a week doing customer service for Verizon trying to pay the mortgage.
The cartoon ends when Mowgli meets that girl. That's because life ended for Mowgli when he met that girl.
