FWIW I tend to lean on the "Ox was MD'd" side, but not strongly enough to discount Monkey being town.

I realized this could be misinterpreted. Take this along the lines of one of gfish's questions from D1, not as any sort of reflection on what happened last night.

I don't think it can end well for them. It is probably better for the town as a whole, but a maf who claims to die is in severe lynch danger and a townie just opens themselves up for later targeting.

I have biases, claiming dead last game didn't work out for me.

Depending on how I felt about my death or how protected I think I would be (which normally is 'not very') I'd possibly say if I was killed in hope that someone targetted my killer. But I'd also be hesitant mainly because well, I'd be on my final life and at the whim or whoever wanted to take me out.

Dragon v Rat could be flavor, but Ox killing Monkey is open to interpretation for me. Ox goes on about Monkey challenging her, as if he targeted her and not the other way around. That's why I'm wondering.

It's all situational for people coming forward. It's a huge risk to let the mafia know you're down to one life. On the other hand, you might garner some protection.

I'm interested in the JoH/gfish thing. I almost voted JoH for his initial comment after the write-up. Very presumptive and and I wouldn't put it past him to steer the convo that way so that we don't discover his dark secrets.
