Does anyone here have an E Emerald Empress and/or E Mano for sale?
I have laid hands on the E Mano and have little doubt the E EE also exists in a box of duplicates here, but I have not found my dupe CD figs (yet). That said, I'd never sell them to you. I would, however, give them to you.

That would be uber cool of you! I want to make the following team:
Tharok = 100
Validus = 152
E Mano = 43
E Emerald Empress = 90
E Persauder = 114
Total = 499
That's FIVE hundred points of Fatal FIVE funsauce!
Has anyone read the article on the front page The Top 5 Overrated HeroClix of All Time? Read it, don't really agree with the guys choices or reasoning. That's a nice way of saying I think he is a moron and I could wipe the floor with him.
Here are his Top 5:
Darkside - Crisis
Apocalyspe - M&M
Green Scar
Chase Lamppost Batman Ultimate Thor - This is where he loses all credibality.
Also this statement doesn't help his cause as a HeroClix expert: Sinister Nick Fury (I’ll save some points and take the Secret Invasion GOLIATH instead, thank you very much).
But it got me thinking what are the most overrated figs of all time???
Now this depends on your interpertation of "overrated". The closest anaolgies I can make are sports related. Most experts say overrated is you are thought of/hyped up better than you really are. For instance, that "great team" that always makes the playoffs but loses in the first or second round every year.
You can even be great or a Hall of Famer and be considered overrated. The classic argument is Nolan Ryan. A HoFer but neve won a Cy Young, never best pitcher of his era, but great. Brett Favre is moving into this catagory as well.
My thoughts are figures most people think of as "uber" but aren't all that. Some are tier 2 figs that people rate as Invitational worthy. Some are Invitational worthy that people think will win, but never will (or have).
So he are the Captain's picks for Top 5 Overrated Clix's. No particular Order. Danger
With her point cost she is going to be your primary attacker and the core of your team. But she does not have any move & attack abilities. That limits her too much. It's a nice white power but a well balanced (ie Top 4 worhty team) can get around it easily. A 17D that can't stop penatrating damage is not that scary. She's a pain, but beatable and not Top 4 worhty.
Jakeem Thunder
He is an overglorified support figure. He is too expensive to just add defense and PC/Perplex to your team. The stragety to beat him is simple. Pick 1 frontline fig, hve your best attacker with highest AV go after it, pop it for 5 or six to KO it, pull back, done. He'll never get into the game attack wise. Can't afford to have a 124pt fig not attack once in a game.
Trick Shot Amazo - Cosmic Justice
This was the HSS figure of choice pre Supes and BA. The team mechanics were simple and you could beat weaker players. But never any elite players. The downside was the base 3 damage on a 215pt character. An Amazo team would always Top 8 but lose in the first round. Never cracked Top 4.
Experienced Northstar
This figure was abused every way imaginable back in the day. And not just by Colossus. 1, 2, or 3 on a team. Teamed up with GL tank, brick, smallball. Armor Pierced, TBolts, whatever. But he could never get over a 2 damage value and 5 clicks of life. He could never do enough damage to KO a brick and could be one-shoted to easily.
That last part wasn't meant to be a gay joke, it just turned out that way.
Rookie Shazam
The figure that wanted to be a HSS brick. But how can you be one with 4 clicks without HSS!?! Even in his era he wasn't the best team archtype. And Warbound hurt him more than helped because it limited your figure pool. His advantage was he was only 105pts, which allowed you to put more effiecnt and stronger attackers with him that other, more expensive bricks could not have on their team. He was good, the team was strong, but never championship level. They just made the playoffs every year.
Honorable Mention: Vet Mysterio
You would think Stealh, Super Senses, and Outwit would be tits. But he was a little too expensive to be used in that Batman slot. And without the Willpower meant you had to have a ferrier for him. The team ability was never used and just added points to the dial.
He's like that chick at work that you want to be hot, but just isn't quite there. So you never holla at her. But get a 6 pack of beer in you and that is on and poppin' blades!

Reason: Spelling, what else.
I don't want to play a game of chess where dumb luck or money decides whether or not I get to use a rook... Collectibility is a necessary evil of Heroclix, not a boon.
I allways considered Overratted to be the Team/Athlete/Figure that EVERYONE and their Momma loved but you hated. Example? John Cena. Allways considered* a top contender. Makes it on the big cards and even wins a Belt at some. Just never keeps it longer than two months. Sounds overatted to me.

I just watched Grand Turino last week and In the Line of Fire was on recently (another eastwood movie, in this one he is in the Secret Service).
I think he would make a great Old Man Bruce if they do a Batman Beyond movie, what do you all think?
If you really want to throw a nod to someone and the fanboys, have Kevin Conroy play elder Bruce. He is up there in age and with a little makeup can pull it off visually.

I thought about that too but I just don't know how much of a tough guy he is.
Hes got the vocie of course, maybe if Eastwood did not want to do the movie for some reason?
and as for Dolph Lundgren first off he was/is not a superstar (though we still get a few straight to DVD movies staring him) and he at least looked like the Punisher (not that the newer ones dont, just that his look was the best thing about the movie).

Even if Eastwood was not your first choice wouldn't he at least be an acceptable old man Wayne?
Dude you are hot to trot to have Eastwood as Bruce, but I have to disagree. He would not make a good Batman Beyond Bruce Wayne.
The character Eastwood played in Grand Turino is not who future Bruce is. In fact I can't think of any Eastwood roles that come close to future Bruce.
Yes, he's old, yes he can scowl. yes he can have a gruff voice, but there is alot more than that. Eastwood is the lone gunman or the masterless samurai. Bruce may come off like that but underneath he is a father figure who needs to take care of his protege's as much as he needs to have them in his life.
So when I think of old Bruce, I don't think of Eastwood. Could he play the part, sure because he is an exceptional actor. But is he who I would want to play the part, no.
