I'm going to see if I can't tear apart the control panel in the elevator in the hopes of figuring out how to take it wherever I want to go!
Brains I take it?
Improv performance went super well, if anyone was wondering. Had a blast, and got a great response from the audience. I could probably do the write-up tonight, but I said I'd give you until Monday.
I've been working with a long-form improv company for the last 4 years, and just Friday they had the grand opening of their new theater. Normally I run lights and sound, but I perform when I am able (which hasn't been for a very long time). Last night I performed in a duo with a very funny lady, and it went very very well.
Sky once again decides it's a good idea to taunt a hostile opponent, and starts blowing raspberries at the creature. Perhaps it's because he has grown so used to facing sluggish zombies, stupid zombies, and zombies that attack from range, but Sky is quite taken by surprise when this alien zombie starts into a sprint, headed right for him. I'd say the creature is pretty darn distracted.
Seeing the creature's attention pulled away, Jawa begins his routine. Moving across the floor as much as on his feet, Jawa's limbs fly through the air as he pulls his acrobatic feats. Just before launching into his final move (a stylish jumpkick), Jawa's ankle turns, causing him to fall forward, landing awkwardly right on top of his target. The creature remains disturbingly silent, but grabs Jawa, and blasts him into Sky. They both go down in a heap.
Pax sprints into the elevator, and tears open the control panel, aiming to take control. Apparently, he isn't he first to try this.
Pax is suddenly hit by a massive blast of electricity, blowing him into the back wall of the elevator, where his still twitching body loses consciousness.
"Please do not do that again."
A new panel appears in place of the one Pax removed. (Critical miss on Pax's part.)
Stranger, against all rational logic, manages to build a perfectly functioning laptop out of the wreckage of the computer system. Wade promptly grabs the laptop and hurls it at the creature. The laptop strikes the creature in the head, sending it stumbling backwards into the large machine. As the creature attempts to right itself, the energy coming from the creature's hands comes into contact with the strange energy coming from the machine, causing a massive and spectacular explosion. As more rubble falls from the ceiling, Stranger aids Jawa and Sky to the elevator, while wade watches the results of his work. It's only when the smell of burning alien hits him that Wade finally boards the elevator, and the doors slide to a close.
World 1 complete! Each party member gains 5 additional XP! Before I set the scene at the game establishment, you must decide if you will spend your points on vouchers, stats, or if you have enough, a new trait decided by me.
Additionally, Smudge has joined your party, and is granted 10 XP (he does not gain XP for completing World 1) as to not be under leveled.
