Okay... I've moved the lab work along as I'd planned -- tasks that can take just a few minutes on a Saturday or Sunday can put me a day or more ahead of schedule once Monday rolls around -- so I'm going to do a few more things online before moving to the next step of my day.

All this chicken talk is getting me hungry, though. I haven't had anything but water since dinner last night. Maybe deciding on an early lunch will be my next step.

Got up early and made beignet for breakfast. Wife and daughter appreciated it greatly. Kiddo is going to Grandma's this afternoon, and since we have decided to just have a lazy day, I need to figure out what I am going to do with myself. There is no lack of Realms work that needs my attention, plus I am trying to design a Quick Start PAC/Rules sheet for my venue to hand out with Clix-give-away-bags. I'll likely post a link to that in here later in order to get some advice on the design/content. So keep a look out, as I would appreciate the input.

If after Evangelion you are ready to try another anime, I would recommend Sword of the Stranger. It is one of my favorite animes. It is just a movie not a series and the plot is pretty simple and straightfoward but imo it works out really well.

Since I'm not a fan of the Darkseid dial, I just chose not to post too much in that thread. Why should I poop on someone else's parade? If others like the dial, good for them. Everyone has different styles of play so what one person likes, another person might not. It doesn't mean that one person is a better player, thus being able to utilize any figure. People in GD tend to think, as you said, you're a moron if you don't agree OR if you don't think a figure is good, it's because you are a terrible player and can't figure out how to use it.

I keep asking for the shower cam, but the jerk just ignores me. I think the next step is to drill holes in the wall to watch.

I'll admit, I got just a little bit choked up to see that. It made me quite happy. Maybe because I worked with the geriatric community suffering from Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, but I have a soft spot for those with mental disabilities. And if anyone is going to call me a wimp for choking up over a feel-good story, I'll just kick em' in the nuts!

This also reminds me of when there was discussion of a particular figure and thinking you could win against it made you a bad player that didn't understand the fundamentals of the game or something. It is true that in GD you can't just share some ideas. Everything has to be polarized in one direction or the other. Unless it's a poll then you have to have an other or both option even if they happen to not apply. Without those options then it is complete poll fail.
