Its only a problem because my venue is told to wait. Why should they have to wait? If WK doesnt give a poop then I will convince my venue to break street date as well.
But if you think its fair why dont you ask comical what he thinks of venues that break street date?
Hmmm...that's actually a pretty good idea. I think I'll try and see if my venue will sell them early. I wonder if they even have them in stock yet? Thanks!

Right/wrong, what sucks is if that Hastings does get penalized in a "you can't carry our stuff" kind of way, and that's the only local source of clix those guys have.

Considering that Hastings is one of the now biggest chain stores that sells comics and clix cutting off that revenue stream and accessibility to clix would be worse than what they've done imo.
A fine or shipping them product later next time would be a better solution/punishment imo.

Telling a venue they wont be able to sell seems like the wrong punishment. The more apt punishment is in the future not to ship to that store until the week after the release date. If they dont care about the release date then they wont mind when they get the product.

We're all getting mired down in this whole debate on street dates when the real problem is that we're not all getting our clix today. Street dates are important and all, but waiting another week sucks crits.

Print out the article with the Sept 14th release date and take it your venue and ask them why they dont have the product on the shelf yet?
If WK doesnt care, why should you or your venue?

How are you going to report a store for breaking the street date and then advocate asking venues to break street date as well? Ridiculous. Stop being jealous and deal with waiting.
Uhm. What is this Hastings thing you speak of? Never heard of it. I tried googling it but ended up at a Russian teen transvestite website. I was obviously doing something wrong.

That's because you searched Harry Strings instead of HASTINGS. I make the mistake... repeatedly.
