vlad has a woman now. I am going thru this with jwb again.
Just watch Disney's Jungle Book. Life is great, you're hanging out in your underwear, eating fruit with a talking bear, dancing with monkeys. Then you see a cute girl batting her eyes at you and next thing you know you're in a dress shirt and khakis stuck in a cubicle for 60 hours a week doing customer service for Verizon trying to pay the mortgage.
The cartoon ends when Mowgli meets that girl. That's because life ended for Mowgli when he met that girl.
Sometimes vlad goes MIA from my venue for several months.
I wonder if my Friday the 13th scenario this week will change that.
This Friday's game (01/13/2017) will be a 500 point golden age event requiring at least one character with the Monster keyword.
At the beginning of each game, the highest point character with the Monster keyword on each force (the controller chooses if there is a tie) becomes that force's Bad Guy.
The Bad Guy has these traits in addition to his usual game effects.
Out Of Nowhere: At the beginning of your turn roll 1d6. On a result of 6 the Bad Guy may immediately use Phasing/Teleport as a free action with a locked speed value of 12, and after actions resolve, if the Bad Guy is adjacent to an opposing character it immediately makes a close combat attack as a free action using Blades/Claws/Fangs as if a close combat action had been given.
The End?: When the Bad Guy is KO'd add him to your sideline instead of removing him from the game.
The Sequel: If the Bad Guy is on your sideline when your turn begins roll 1d6. On a result of 6 place the Bad Guy in your starting area and turn its dial to the click on which he began the game and modify the Bad Guy's combat values by +1 for the rest of the game.
I saw that email and got super-excited. It's like you knew this was the week I went back to having Friday nights off and designed a scenario just for me.

One of the truest cartoons a young boy can watch.
Walt Disney, man. He knew it.
Went out with the woman tonight, so I should be good for now.
We saw Passengers, which was actually a little better than I expected.
Actually, she does like board games, so I am planning on teaching her how to play HeroClix one of these days. I'll have to dig out some uncomplicated dials that are good for teaching.

As long as those are for her while you play Faust and such I think you are on the right track.

We've lost vlad.
...
Father's hunting in the forest
Mother's cooking in the home
I must go to fetch the water
Till the day that I am grown
Till I'm grown, till I'm grown
I must go to fetch the water
Till the day that I am grown
Then I will have a handsome husband
And a daughter of my own
And I'll send her to fetch the water
I'll be cooking in the home
Then I'll send her to fetch the water
I'll be cooking in the home
OK guys. I just discovered a band that is truly nothing like I have ever heard before. The best way to describe it is if Tim Burton wrote a rock opera/musical this is it. This is something that once you hear it you can't unhear it...
The name of the band is Diablo Swing Orchestra
Either way, whatever you guys say I enjoy it.

Since the Bad Guy is ko'd rather than it being a "would be ko'd" effect, it's worth points every time, right?
If the Bad Guy has any feats, resources, etc. does he keep those when he comes back, or does he come back without them?
