My JLU brick had only three SRs - Ace, J’onn and Darkseid - and no Chase. Being I need to put together the Seven Soldiers (most especially any and all versions of Stargirl, though this is the only one I think I lack) I guess I’m splurging another brick.

The JLU, BTAS, Animated X-Men sets almost brought me out of clix retirement. I’m still thinking of pulling the trigger on a complete set of the JLU one. I loved the series.

Yeah, I need to finish BtAS and I don’t have any of XtAS but always debate it.

CAAV was hugely disappointing - though I think I still want an Immortal Hulk - and I skipped the whole time period with the Black Panther / Illuminati / Earth-X bit but I hear I should maybe check it out. Problem is I don’t ever get to play so they’re almost like buying trinkets you fool yourself will one day have use.

I did, however, really enjoy my FF opening and now I’m battling between another it or JLU (I’m trying to be more reasonable than I was for the first decade or so of the game).

I feel you on the trinket status....I bought Boosters through at Least Mutations and Monsters but the only time I really played in person was....Hypertime/Infinity Challenge lolPossibly Cosmic Justice ...Then I just tried to pick up ones if they made a favorite of mine
Heck even now there are a few I want for my collection like Lawyer She Hulk, Jeanette the last victim, Death Adder, Blackwing, Bedovian etc lol

Yeah, I played from Ultimates (I had stuff from the earlier sets, though) through just about the Deadpool set.

I never did get Magneto or Juggernaut from Giant Size X-Men. Both of them were my grails and were right around $50 apiece while I was playing (and wanted them both).

I’m not even sure what to do with my collection. I don’t really think I’ll ever play again and it doesn’t seem like there’s a market for the majority of the older figures.

That's pretty much why I left the game. Just too much power leaping with figures and for a collectible game there's no value on anything over two years old. With very few exceptions.

I would feel better about Clix if they supported Golden Age or other alternate formats officially, but even then the tournament scene would just be, new figures but with feats added.
