It flipped maybe 20 minutes ago for me.
I was just going to pull until I got YJ on my roster. Only took two pulls, so that was nice, but I didn’t get much of a spree.

Oh well, on March 8th should be when Phoenix Cyclops goes into LLs.
I am currently sitting on....
Adam Warlock - 0/1/0 - 740 shards
Yellowjacket - 1/0/0 - 470 shards
Cyclops - 0/0/0 - 0 shards

Depending on whether or not a get a Cyke from his intro store, I will be needing 12 or 13 for him.
I expect that both Adam and YJ will be essential at least once each again between now and then, so they will have some wild-card covers on hand. For the sake of argument I will say two each.
So I am looking at needing like 10 covers each for AW and YJ. Probably 12 for Cyke.

That is 32 covers if the numbers are good. If pulls hit close to the expected odds and with a good balance, I am looking at needing to make 224 pulls to get all three champed.

That, of course, won’t likely happen.

Pulls always seem to skew heavily to one character.
If it does that and I am lucky that one will be Warlock. Then he gets finished and I can worry about the others as the store cycles.
If the “heavy” guy is YJ or Cyke, well, I keep pulling until AW is done and my wind up with one of the others being a bit beyond champed, which isn’t awful (especially if it is YJ).

That last post made me decide to go and check on the running pull count.

It has been 12 days since the last check-in
Current pulls: 256 (+40)
LLs: 106 (+15) *** Note, just used two
CP: 3774 (+634)
That is a rate 3 1/3 pulls per day.

Since 12/14/20...
LLs: 23->106=+83
CP: 1056->3774+2718
Pulls: 65->256+191
Over 56 days, that is 3.41 pulls per day.

I am liking my outlook for the March 8th spree.
As I said above, the numbers would say I need 224 pulls, and I am already sitting above that.

OK, I'd like to hear about the decision to wait until you're going for three instead of what I've been doing, splurging to make sure the oldest toon in the store gets to 13.

As for my spree....

Started with 39 LT and 1099 CP. Since my last spree 4 weeks ago, I earned 37 LTs and 839 CP, or "70 pulls" so 2.5 pulls per day. Combined with the 2 LT and 260 CP I had at the end of my last spree, I had a total of 39 LT and 1099 CP or 82 pulls.

My Magneto was at 1262 and was favorited, and as soon as he hit 1501 shards, I switched the favorite over to Adam W. So I had 3 covers "in the bag" for Mags.

Mags went from 2/1/2 (with 1262 shards) to 5/2/3 (with 1501 shards). That gets him to 13
Adam Warlock went from 3/2/0 to 4/3/1. (Which gives me a good feeling that in 4 weeks, I'll be able to spend less)
Yellowjacket went from 0/0/0 to 1/1/1

Interesting notes - [list][*]My longest run of 4*s without a 5* is 12 in a row. [*]My best run of 5* was when I got 3 out of 5 pulls. [*]Overall, I got 11 5*s out of 81 pulls

After redemption, I stand with 5 LTs and 143 CPs. If I follow the same rate, I expect to be here in 4 weeks with 44 LTs and 1242 CPs (or 93 pulls).

Long story short on my methodology is that there is no difference between us, actually.
My preference IS to do it your way.
In an ideal world, my spree will result in the oldest one being complete, the second oldest being a good chunk of the way to 13, and the freshest having a nice start.
On my last one things did not work out like that.
I think it was when Deadpool entered LLs.
The store was (IIRC) Heimdall (oldest), Mags (middle), and Deadpool (newest).
The plan was to pull until Heimdall was done.
I either was simply not pulling any Heimdalls or I was only pulling one color. In either case, the end result was that Mags was at 13 long before Heimdall was done, and Deadpool was at 12 and would get enough shards for 13 the next time he was essential.
Bottom line, after that last spree I had completed all three of the latest legends. This meant that I would be waiting for a full cycle until I would do a big spree again.
In other words, had things worked out as I had hoped (Ie, Heimdall done, Mags close, Deadpool started), when the LL store had become Mags, DP, and Warlock, then I would have made a small run to complete Mags and then had a strong DP and Warlock started.

Unfortunately, it will take some luck to get out of this hole and back to where that can happen. I mean, since I will be going into that next one with Warlock and YJ so closely built, it is easily possible that the same thing happens...YJ and/or Cyke get done before Warlock. If that happens, then yeah, I have those guys done, but then I am waiting for multiple cycles before I go again.

I have just wanted to join in on the numbers game. I am pulling from LLs in a different way. I just want to get 1 cover of the newest 5 and by the time the oldest one leaves I will be at 1/1/1 for that one. While playing SCL 10 I can pull it off due to shards.

51LLs and 1236 CP. or 100 pulls.

I know I spent at least 7 pulls to roster a 5* I did not have, which takes me to 93 pulls
( I may have spent more CP on the CL store during the time but if it was it coouldn't have been more than 3-7 each time. Since there was no recollection of it it's just a net loss that will just skew my data)

Gained 32 pulls in 28 days or 1.15 pulls a day

Today (2/8) I was at 78 LLs and 1191 CP or 125 pulls
It took 4 pulls to get my 1 YJ and a Warlock cover so I end at 74 LLs and 1191 CP or 121 pulls.

I know that when I get to the point where I am going to champ my 4*s I will have a large influx of LLs as well as CP with every other cover. Also when my 3* farm starts producing again I will be getting those first LLs once they are champed too.

I'm glad to see them doing something new for Daily Quests

A 530-er was telling me on Reddit how they go about pulling recent LLs. Granted I know that they are placing better and playing to dominate but they said they get the 5* cover by the time the required PVE has started and they don't pull LLs unless the 5* is worth it. They have been saving for the past year+ and have 499 LTs and 20677 CP.

The person also mentioned that the only reason why they use CP is for special stores to get Okoye, iHulk, and similar.

This could just be my age showing, but what is a "530-er"?

Not a specific term nor your age, just a person who has 5*s in the 530's. So not completely maxed out but working on it.

The result of that strategy would be a few select high powered toons.
Everyone else will linger low.
It would be like having three or four max-champed 4*s and the rest sitting with fewer than 13 covers, unchamped.
I suppose it is a strategy, but not a particularly fun one, imo.
Imagine if your Clix collection consisted of one expensive net-decked team of the current hotness and then a bunch of lackluster CURs. That is what that strategy would be.

And now, while it would really personally sting, I would laugh my head off if they totally nerfed Okoye and whoever else this guy has pumped up.

So the Phoenix Cyclops store is going to be BRB, Jean, and Cyke,
I am liking that as I would not. I do more brb levels, but I would be sad to get Jean levels.

I could definitely use some more BRB. I am about 150 shards from getting 3 covers for him. If I were to pull from that store and just get 1 BRB cover right off the bat then I would be happy.

Contrary to what others think my best build for BRB is getting that 3rd yellow cover. So at least 5/3/5 or 5/4/4.

What do others think? I have mine at 5/3/5.

Since Yellow never gives more AP than at lvl 3, 5/3/5 is the way to go.
