We need a silver age Atom stand alone that is actually wearing his own classic costume.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.

That might be nice and all, but the character has already been made multiple times (Three, in fact, with four different dials) and "Different costume" hardly trumps "Never made at all." A different costume has to be one of the least compelling reasons, ever, for remaking a figure.
I'm in Providence! I've been out of the hobby, but I'm looking for Saturday gaming. Send me a PM if you know the down-low!
John Stewart's costume dates back to the early 80s, and he's hardly a big player in the recent crossover events. It's *really* not fair to lump himin with White Lanterns as some sort of flavor-of-the-month. He's also been long, long overdue for a remake as a well-liked character (thanks mainly to JLU) that has only ever had a horrible dial in clix.
Also, the jury is *really* out on the make-up of the set. Yes, 10 white lanterns is a lot, but that does not mean we aren't going to get representatives from all eras. The Silver and Bronze ages are pretty under-represented in previews, but they have gotten a lot of love in teh last few sets, so that doesn't really upset me much... yet.
Not that people ought not complain if the set make-up is not to their liking-- but at least wait to see it first! And consider that *some* modern figures need to be highlighted to draw in people who aren't fans of older ages.

Oh, come on IM, you want people to be sensible? Don't you know where you are?
Corrrect to my post-- John's costume debuts in 1986. Rest of my points stand.
Personally, even if as much as half of the set is modern, I'm pleased as punch to get 30-ish characters from throughout DC history. This set represents the best chance of Paul Kirk 70's Manhunter ever getting made (and they could make his closes as generics), and we probably *will* see some of these other missing characters people are mentioning.
I'll be disappointed if we get too many JSA remakes, frankly (we don't need another ALan Scott, really-- but replacing his sculpt with a mod sure helps) and there are a lof of older characters that could use remaking.
Last of all, I'm hoping the White Lanterns don't vary too much from the standard powers of the characters in question-- then they could easily be repainted as regular versions.
(Oh, and Guy with a Chainsaw doesn't sound like a Red Lantern to me as much as a 1980's version, when he was still portrayed as unbalanced and violent.)

Haha...Well, I want a SP era Alan Scott, but maybe that's just me. To me, he's as bad for his day as John Stewart was for his. They both need a do-over if you ask me. John was just...not very good, and Alan was an overcosted wreck in both sculpt and dial.

Since I play him mostly on Golden Age teams, I use the Rookie, who is solid even today. But I agree with the others, and I suppose an SP-annoited Vet would be awesome.
Oh, one last thing I meant to mention-- I generally hear the Broze Age as being defined when Kirby left Marvel or when Clark Kent became a TV reporter (1970 or 1971). Always seemed to be a good dividing line to me, since that's when the 4th world kicked in, and whne the 70's writers really started to shine.
You could even do a named generic called Kirk DePaul for SSoSV teams...
Guy with a chainsaw is definently a Red Lantern. Your point would stand if this weren't the cover to the issue with Red Lantern Guy in it. (On a side note, I love how that costume calls back to his yellow ring days.)
Oh, and when I said older characters needign remaking, I meant *making*-- as in, give us golden age Atom, Shining Knight, etc, before remaking JSA members we already have.

Oh. Oh OK.
I'm not opposed to e Red Lantern Guy, but I would really like a Green one (or yellow-ring one) that didn't suck. Lower on my list of priorities than new figures, but I still want one.

Hilariously, though...there are 56 new sculpts and supposedly there is going to be Red and Green Guy...nobody said 'on one dial'...food for thought.
I agree wholeheartedly about Golden Age figures. They shouldn't remake too many figures when the amount of unmade and prominent Golden Age characters is pretty high, and the amount of sets they could theoretically be made in is pretty low. Still, an Alan Scott with a sculpt from the cover of All American Comics #16 would be pretty rad.

If we get even Golden Age Atom, I'll consider it a win.
