Oh there's a lot missing, but any X-fan knew that with so many X-Related characters out there, there was no way ANYONE would get all their favourite mutants.
Very true. We'll definitely get another down the line to address the gaps.
Not like we'd remake this set, anyway.

2. Cool generics - I don't know who those Purifiers are, but I dig the idea of an army of zealots. I always kind of liked the Hellfire Club as well. Mindless Ones!!! Are Skullbusters generics? He looks like Crossbones.
3. Caliban - I always liked that guy.
4. Ch'od
5. Basic, core X-Men in classic costumes that even I know. Mind you that's not a huge plus for me, but I can imagine worse.
6. Cool-looking sculpts. I will probably even play some of the ones here that I don't even know. They look good.
OK. That's all I can come up with. Time to start thinking of the next DC set.
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.
Ok, since the Mindless Ones are in there, what's the over/under on the unrevealed giant figure being Dormammu? Also, while this set looks fantastic, I'm pretty disappointed to not see Jubilee, Shadowcat, Fantomex, or any vampires. Well, maybe the next Marvel set will be Heroic Age with a Marvel Monsters sub-theme (really gotta have vampire Jubes and Wolvie at this point).
Very minor grip aside, gorgeous sculpts, fantastic character assortment, and if the previews are any indication some of (if not THE) most character accurate dials to date. I'm in for a case.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I was hoping for Post (being the hERALD OF onslaught and all) but seeing as not one of my favourite mutants made the list, I'm not holding my breath.

I would prefer it if we could gradually sprinkle out X-characters from now on, so we don't have to have another mutant heavy set for a long, long, long time. There should be a minimum of 5-10 X-characters in every set to keep them from getting so neglected that we get to a point that we have to have a set like this. In the future, I would prefer the necessary evil of X-Men in small doses.

Totally agree. I always get disappointed when there aren't enough X-Men in each subsequent Marvel set release.
Who around here DIDN'T grow up with the X-Men?

And umm, #12 & #13? Same figure, but it's both Empath. Where's CYPHER?!
Cypher is the one with blonde hair....Empath with brown hair. different hair colors...but same figure. i am sure that it s same with Tarot/Roulette...one with red hair and one with brown hair.
Looks really good. I'm surprised at how many I didn't know. And I'm surprised at some of them that actually made it in. Trevor Fitzroy? Really? But the staples are all there and I'm excited at all the new team building options. Can't wait till March.
a few months ago....and right now Wolverine's teaching her how to control herself with his healing factor...oh well..you ll have to find out the new book - Jubilee and Wolverine mini-series and it s out this WEEK!
I'm super excited about a few figures (Lockheed, Rogue remake, Caliban, Blob, Siryn) but at the same time really annoyed about all the uneccessary remakes in the set, and all the characters that didn't make it in. Especially Toad, the New/Young X-men crew, the rest of X-factor, Maggot, Dr. Cecilia Reyes, The X-club, etc.
Be interesting to see what kind of Special Power they give to Leech!
Really coulda done without the Reavers (old news) and I was hoping it would be the more recent Hellions.
I think I'm actually less X-cited about this set now than I was before. But it's still cool. Probably get my usual Brick now though (was contemplating a case).
