1) Woke up to find the picky neighbor that is overly meticulous about his yard had been TP'ed overnight due to his son's high school graduation. They also forked the lawn and floured his car.
Yeah kids , Riiight.

Got to finish up sorting the SWM Stormtroopers et al for an Ogre...
"When they come to take control every Ogre must play his role"
If you go to the Magic release, let me know. I've seen a lot of the cards, but I'd like to know how they play!
Also, I've bought around 18 boosters and I still haven't got a Mythic. I've gotten a ton of foils, but no mythic.
I did end up going. Opened a Gideon Jura and some other good stuff out of my six draft packs. I went blue/white. Went three and two overall, and placed five out of thirty. I won eight packs and a fetchland, and I opened a Chandra, The Firebrand out of those.
I like the set okay, but it's a little heavy on low-rarity open-ended token generators for my taste. Jade Mage is possibly the best thing that you can open in M12 sealed, and one or two of those and one or two Overruns pretty much ensures a top three placing. The milling element of blue is interesting and semi-playable in limited though, which I always like to see.

Did you see anyone play the new Jace? I really like that card.

What is "forked the lawn". That must be one i missed in my youth.

I did not. I heard somebody pulled him, but I don't think they did well. He's not great in sealed unless you got a really strong set of mill stuff already. Just price checked my pulls (looks like ~$100 overall, which is good for a $25 buy-in. Must ebay now before prices start dropping) and I think he's the most expensive thing in the set at the moment.

You plant a bunch of forks in the yard. They tend to be plastic forks as metal would be too costly.
I never heard of it either. That's actually pretty funny!

Went 3-0 and placed first. The team is pretty solid and a lot of fun to play. You get a Loki with Probability Control, a Loki with Perplex, and a Loki with Outwit, all of which are hard to kill and are strong ranged attackers. Super rare Loki only left his first click once when I pushed to finish off my second opponent's last figure. I probably shouldn't have won the third round against a Guardians of the Galaxy team, but rare Loki got six or seven Shapechange rolls in a row on her mid-dial. I won a Deadpool, which I immediately traded for an Oliver Queen judge promo, which I've been looking for for my Green Arrow collection.
After the tournament I played five or six games with people who stuck around on the Fast Forces map, which is GREAT. Both sides of it are very interesting and very distinctive. I played a Kingdom Come Batman and Kingdom Come Wonder Woman together in a four-way game, borrowed a bunch of my buddy's high-end older uniques that I had never gotten to play before, and tested all of the Fast Forces Asgard stuff.
The Warriors Three are okay, but are nothing compared to the Hammer of Thor ones (as expected, I guess). Asgardian Brawler is also kind of lame compared to the Asgardian Warriors. Thor, Loki, and the maps are all terrific, though.

Congrats on Winning!
Interesting to note, since you had three Loki's, is that we had a Clone Wars tourney today. All characters had to be the same person. I had an Archangel team for me and a Thor/Thor frog team for my son but gave up the Archangel team to dkrmguy's son when they packed the wrong base for zombie Wolverine. It was his choice, I still would have played the Archangels if given the choice between the two (they just seemed like they would have been fun!).
So I went with the Thors and went undefeated. Almost lost to some Wolvie's in the first game with a bunch of Auto Regeneration but won and also beat Batmans, Supermans, and Green Lanterns.
I never played throg before. I knew he was good but always felt his lack of mobility would be too much of a downfall to be that good- I think I was wrong. I learned that he can go up against some powerhouses and really hold his own.

I Repped you for this, thinking it was the old Unique Loki, missing that it was actually the female Rare. Either way, rock on! I love it. For what it's worth, all 5 Lokis in existence, including the Thor/Loki duo add up to 1002 points. ARGHHHH. There goes that idea for this month's 1000 point game.

I could have told you that! The little guy is amazing.
As far as itrader goes, now that I'm over 25 I don't really care much, but there have been a number of people that I traded with and never got feedback from. I like to think since I'm an active enough member and I have a number of trades, people will trust me enough to trade with me.
