I think we should organize an LPC vs. Ogres clix game at a convention sometime. If any of the folks with dual-citizenship want to play, we could assign them to whichever group has less participants.
Winning group could get to name the other group's next thread or something equally silly.
Yeah, I'd do that. Wizard World Chicago is the only event I attend with any regularity, but I've been meaning to hit a Gencon or something now that I have a steady job.

Cool. We'll have to find an event that we'll have decent numbers of people at, and then someone can go carry our challenge to the ogres.
I don't think there's a lot of conventions left this season that people will have time to plan for, so maybe we could do it at something next summer. I'm not sure where a lot of people are located to know which events would be closer for them.

I've already got my passes for SDCC 2012. I know GenCon won't be happening for me. WonderCon is a possibility but it depends on a lot of other stuff falling in place.
Cause they are awesome...have you played the Gears clix yet? Pretty nasty...though Marcus kept rolling crit misses -_-;
Also who decides who gets to do the exclusive previews anyways? What makes the people that always do them so special that they get to do it and not, say me?!?!

Start writing articles. Maybe you'll get picked.

For the record, I do maintain contact with some of the Ogres. It's just that those threads balloon so fast with responses that it's not worth keeping up. There are some good guys there; I just happen to be closer to the folks on this thread.
Why the hell should this thread have "substance" any way? I post here to get away from the BS I deal with at work. I don't want to deal with BS here as well. Some folks apparently like drama. That's fine; I get enough of it at work, though. I'm not looking for it here. (Speaking of work, I really do have to get back to focusing on that. )
Wintremute's said it before: Anyone is welcome to post on these threads. The LPC is supposed to be fun. Yeah, some serious stuff gets brought up but in general I think the "regulars" on this thread are looking for a place to just mess around.
(Really do have to get back to work, though.)
I like to occasionally post over here. There are times when things lack substance in both threads. There are things that are hillarious and fun in both threads. There are too many of us that post in both threads to have any kind of rivalry. That's just silly pants.
