@Dan- its 500 pt constructed tonight.
@Dave- Most people on their own stick to highlander. I don't see many people play teams like double Iceman or the triple Superman team unless its a highly competitive tournament.
I'll be out. I may be slightly late or right on time but I will be there.

I cannot imagine a better legacy for my cousin.
Is anything actually going on tonight? I see nothing on this thread and I have not seen anything posted on the WK site. I'd like to come out but I am not sure I want to drive an hour home if nothing is going on.
Has anyone heard from Mike?

So, I just saw on the WK site, that there is an event scheduled with the title: No Event Tonight. Based on that, I am going to say there is no event tonight!
If no civil war this week can I suggest an event 300 point anything goes but each piece's (resources, IDs, entities, etc.) first letter of their name all has to be the same.
Any updates for this week? I'd like it to be Month 4 Civil War, but I'd like to play regardless. When I checked this morning there was still no event listed for this week.
I've got an event idea. Movie Night. 500 or 600pts, and your team has to be based off a non-comic book movie. (Cause it be too easy to make a comic-book inspired movie) You can use a Resource or relics if you wish, but you must make a strong compelling argument of how it relates/is used in the movie... automatic fellowship bonus if you do a Romance movie
Can I argue that Wonder Woman taught random Amazonian how to fight/ride a horse/shoot a bow? How about how Superman taught Wonder Woman how it felt to kiss Superman? What about Barry Allen/Hal Jordan teaching each other how it felt to be the others friend?
Point is, does this have to be a direct mentor/mentee style relationship? So two figs on your team have to have a Mentor/Mentee relationship?
It's a cool build idea, but severely limiting for some of us who don't have a deep collection of figures. I will come up with something but it'll be rough. Also what constitutes "proof" of the Mentor/Mentee relationship? I don't know that I have time to dig around for specific volume and issue of a comic, print it out, and bring it along to the event.
Using the example in the event description; do I really need to cite a specific example with Batman & Robin, or is the fact that it is Batman & Robin enough "proof"?
For the event this week could I argue that Cap and Tony taught T'Challa that you must not let revenge take you over in the Civil War Movie
I would say No... that was just Black Panther recognizing his own problem in Cap and Tony. There was no teaching moment... this happens a lot in Japanese Tokusatsu. Trust me, you watch a Kamen Rider series of any kind and you'll see what I mean
