Anyway, have had a lot of fun avoiding the WK events completely, though I did run into CrimsonDynamo at the Generic Ticket line. Seems like a hoopy frood that knows where his towel is. Did more Battletech yesterday, as well as some Mammoth Catan (basically Catan on a giant 8'x8' mat), Legendary Encounters Aliens (GAME OVER MAN GAME OVER!), and made my Shadowrun character for today.

Who is an elven drunken master physical adept with insanely fun stats. Heh.

Anyway, have malakim2099 written on my namebadge so people online might recognize the scary-but-not-QUITE-as-big gingerbeard man (Thank you Drack!).

I was thinking about the Linkoritis phenomenon and wanted to pat myself on the back (as well as Link and Nifty) for learning to read Link (and Nifty).

Not sure if this is more of an accomplishment on my end or their end.

Thoughts? Who has moved past/seen through the "X always looks bad, even when he is good" affliction?

I think me taking time away and being aware of my constant scum vibes helped, but for sure you and nifty did some fine work.

Being on summer break really allowed me to focus more on the game than I'm normally capable of.

I'd put you in that category for me personally. Though I must admit that when I actually feel good about you in a game it usually bites me in the butt.

I'd say Linkor has definitely gotten better and I don't know if I feel Destro has gotten better in the category as much as I've learned to read between the lines on him a bit more.

Yep, I was gonna say I think I can read DBoy better (although I haven't seen him as mafia in a while so maybe not). Definitely agree Linkor played a great game last game. Never really suspected him as scum.

PS sorry my game hasn't seen much action, I'd still love another player or two but as soon as the holiday is over I'll get back to work on roles. Hopefully can kick off in a week or two.

So, on the bright side, I managed to secure a condo a half-mile away from SDCC for 2018.

The down side... now I have to try and score a SDCC ticket. Somehow.
