I think MD is an interesting claim if he thinks you have something on him it's convenient. As for if he suspected you, I think that's an unfortunate side effect of who you are, so if he is a MD and town, then he probably would suspect you if he isn't, it really doesn't mean anything.

I think another question is why you think he's tentacle gary if you copped him. But, all my years of training says follow the cop the first time he speaks up. Can go a bit into WIFOM if I dissect the MD stuff

I like JoH's info, and don't necessarily doubt it, but if he's not the dedicated cop (and can do anything [which if he's a townie makes me terrified of what the mafia can do]), why would he wait so long to reveal a scum copping?

Jack's first post claiming Ox and Monkey /must/ be mafia because of their name color is a factor in this for me, I understand the game was closed for a while, but Jack should know better than to assume that in this game.

No he asked why you suspected him (Jack). Meaning that if you're town, and had a good reason to say you didn't trust him other then "Oh he's Jack, I never trust him" then the MD makes more sense.

The way the Lamplighter discussion went down last phase I felt it was pretty obvious that he was Lamplighter, so then it becomes do you still think he's mafia, or why did you think JL is mafia?

Also there's still the problem of you claiming a dead character from 3 games ago.

Basically better put, the Lamplighter situation gives him more credence in this game then your typical Oh Jack is playing, Jack is bad situation where most players put him, so targeting him just because he's Jack is shaky ground.

GFish didn't target me because of Jack style related suspicion.

To me the main issue is questioning the withholding of info when most info gatherers blatantly obscure what information they have to get a better read on the response.

Also, it almost appeared as Jack was deliberately misleading Fish as to what his info was. As a result, Fish came up with a claim that could explain both a tracking and a copping result.

So questioning the tactic does feel off, not sure if I put the grizz in the scum category, or just the inexperienced group.

In the scenario where he is a TOWN MD I agree. He's saving his answer for later, and he doesn't have the typical Jack stance to fall back on.
