Okay, maybe you all are just smarter with your time and internet usage. The only cool thing about the league this year is that I've co-opted my 6 yr old boy savant into helping me with my league. He is always updating me on stuff that Sports Center says about the status of players, and he even recommends who to bench and who to play, etc. It's really cool to have a person paying attention to that so I don't have to, quite as much.


Any of you do the trick or treating last night? We took the kids out and hit a trunk or treat, plus maybe 15 houses before coming back home. There were more houses with theme Halloween setups than I've ever seen around here before.

Also saw via the FBook that one of my old Army coworkers and drinking buddies is now a 2 star freaking general! I got out happily as a major and I think he was an LTC when I was a major, and now the dude is flipping on his way to 3 star. And I'm over here settling fights between a 4 yr old and a 6 yr old over which one of them stole the Heath bars (it was me, by the way).

I I remember the red uniforms. If I remember correctly they had red uniforms 2 times but at least 10 years apart.

I play Fantasy Football. It's like playing Dungeons and Dragons with real people.

No trick or treating in my area thankfully. We weren't going to open the door anyways. Thankfully we live in a state where covid is not making its second wave.

I have no idea what any of that rank stuff means. Congratulations to him and congratulations on you for your choice of stealing a Heath bar. They are tasty.

My fantasy league group kind fell apart.



Halloween:

We did the whole thing. Kind of pointless not to, 16 kids in my neighborhood ride the elementary school bus so they already spend the day in a building and a moving can together. We did bag the candy this year to minimize contact. Also usually the kids all start at the bottom of the hill and work their way around as a huge mob it was more spread out.


I did not decorate as much this year, just did not feel the spirit of it and all the decorations are now boxed up already for next year.

I haven't played fantasy football in years. I stopped actively watching the games, so that wasn't as big as a draw for me. Also, I invested way too much time into it.
