When our story opens, the Question is investigating an impossible locked-room murder mystery involving a midget and a 6'6"-tall call girl into heavy bondage. Don't worry, I'll explain later. It's all vitally relevant.

I'll try another guess. It seems to me that Catman would be PURRRfect for an Egyption theme.

Neither Catman nor Cleopatra. Tho, that does sound like a good movie title, "Catman And Cleopatra". And the sequel, "Catman and Cleopatra Vs Godzilla". Then "Catman and Cleopatra Vs Ma & Pa Kettle".

I must spread rep around before giving more to JTR for the Ma and Pa Kettle referance. O.K. Guess #3 is Azerael.

Isn't Tyler Perry working on a Ma & Pa Kettle in da Hood movie?
I don't know about that, but Rapper turned actor Ice Cube plans to produce and star in a big screen version of "Welcome Back Kotter".
It's to be set in South Central Los Angeles. Ice Cube will of course be playing Mr Kotter.

I always liked the Bowery Boys myself. Last guess for me is...The Red Hood.
No, not the Red Hood. Not any Red Hood.

I was wondering how long it'd take, considering my earlier hint about the "rut" and all. Mine is to create a question that repeats the answer to the previously asked question.
Had anyone looked on the Marvel Trivia thread over the last few days, they'd of noted what I said to DiZo and used that info here.
I'm guessing you either realized from my "rut" comment or from looking at the reply to DiZo that I was doing just that here on this thread.
Anyhow, yes, Virginia, the Riddler is the correct answer.
Name three Batman villains who were created for TV shows and later brought into comic book continuity.
(Mr. Freeze doesn't count. Although the name "Mr. Freeze" was created for the TV show, the character's origin, condition, and M.O. were entirely based on Mr. Zero from the comic books.)
