Raven's soul self leaves her body and overtakes Gorilla Grodd.
"He is...too strong...cannot grasp his mind..."
Starfire steps in, "No, it's working Raven, keep it up". Starfire releases the maximum blast she can manage and at that precise moment, Raven's soul self escapes Grodd who is hammered by the hit. Gorilla Grodd falls.
"Two down," Cyborg says," But the tough guy isn't even slowed down."
"Hmph," the General grunted as Grodd fell, "want anything done right..." He backhanded Starfire. She flew across the park and landed in a bush, unmoving.
Ah, here's our problem. I don't really know the fair way to look at this but I still had General at E11. Starfire is the only one who might be able to damage him so if she's gone there's no way to win so I concede. It's your call, I've made enough mistakes we had to correct/redo that I'm more than comfortable accepting this as is.
Well, even if I hadn't charged Starfire and attacked her from range instead, she'd still be beyond her RCE clicks. I wouldn't say there's no way you could damage me. Cyborg has his Pulse Wave still, though that might hurt you as well as me, and Jesse Quick has the chance of doing a HSS multi-attack, but it would be awfully tough to take the General down. Up to you. If you're ready to call it quits for this game, then I'm okay with that.
Actually Starfire could get to full strength...with Raven's help. THAT and maybe bringing Cyborg to full strength are my only weapons. As for his pulse wave, we still have that impervioius/invulnerability issue, I used to think pulse wave worked like psychic blast, avoiding damage-reducing powers...
However since we accepted Hawkeye's mistake in the Avengers game (attacking others when he was not attacking whoever based him) I'd say this is even.
Pulse Wave does work like Psychic Blast though, ever since Indy. Better in fact - it ignores all powers and team abilities, so Super Senses and Stealth (including Batman Ally) don't work against Pulse Wave.
But it is only 1 click at a time, unless you can manage to get your target to be the only one in the pulse waver's range. So it would still be a long slow process while the General was taking apart your team.
I had hoped to win 3 games of the 6 but this will be two. Survivors are: Injustice League, Legion of Superheroes, Sinister Sindicate, Defenders, Avengers and Ultimates. First choice goes to you. In this round the best 'loser' gets to go on the next round.
