How the hell can he be a flying character with that base!?!

There is no way to put a flight base on that piece. What kinda #### is that? Rules are for a reason and the sculptors need to fit their sculpts so the pieces can follow those rules.

Actually, if you look at it, they can put a peg on his foot just in front of the firey contrail...

So its do-able and as Noman points out, is more than likely.

It looks like the base would fit on the surf-board-shaped flight base. I hope they don't make him a peg >.< .

i just ordered 2 Beautiful sculpt. I can't wait to see the production version with the flight base...assuming they find some way to make him fit on it.

First of all it's a really nice sculpt.

Secondly he WOULD be a great candidate for the rumoured "Nova Blast" feat. Why? Cause if he really starts to run out of use after getting smacked around to his last click. Why would you NOT use nova? He dies anyways from the feat cards rumoured self-inflicted damage. Of course one could say well, its a waste of the feat card IF it is in fact over 20pts...

Running shot 10 move and 10 range, 2 targerts for 4 (!!) damage? That's awesome. I use the Black Queen all the time for her range and PB. Unmodified 4 damage is great. It's like having Havok on steroids. 16 DV doesn't bother me cause you know LE Sue Storm is around some where.

But I'm just trying to be optimistic...I dont care anyways I love the FF and I got 2 of him.

andrewtarius: I checked out your website and the dial display script you have there is much better than either the official WizKids one or the Hcrealms one. Is this a custom script you've developed?

On point 1 - When doing this mega-power all-out attack, did it fail to scratch people standing directly near him (that 10 attack can still miss)? And did it hit at about half the power of Polaris?

Also, if it's called NOVA BLAST HUMAN TORCH, then he's already at the point where he's doing a big, honking Nova Blast. I'd be more happy with this dial if it were four clicks deep, a 14 attack, running shot, pulse wave and a damage of 4-6. Dangerous, deadly, and more than likely to burn out.

On point 2 - Wizard likes to call things cool names that really don't apply. For example, they call themselves comic book journalists.

I'm trying to get a handle on what Torch is going to cost in REV, and if a team of Experienced FF is 300, then this LE is prolly 8 points more than the E Torch (86 + 105 Thing + 47 IW + 62 MF) ... This is horrible!

The tournament cost should be raised to 450 ... then we could have seen an FF worth putting on the field. I suppose the vets add up to 400, which is pretty anemic ... The costs don't even take into account Feat cards that are supposed to help the team ... I am very disappointed.

Something interesting to note, on the Wizkids official page describing this, they mention that it has "three amazing clicks of Pulse Wave right up front." Perhaps Wizard's stats are simply wrong.
