OK--so you're all gonna order a case. This will guarantee you a set. This case could be ordered from a retailer or a online store. Online stores = case discounts. So you order online for your case.
NOW, you need your LE. So retailers in turn order more cases to sell NOT individual boosters per se, but the Bricks. (makes sense for the retailer, since $8<$96)
BOTH WAYS, this means MORE pre-orders for Wizkids. Each person collecting will buy ONE case and at least ONE Brick, basically a case and a quarter. I don't know about you guys, but 2 cases generally yielded two sets minus a few REV and the Uniques. NOW, with LESS dupes in cases, you basically have ONE set per a case and a quarter, OR, long story short, two sets for two and a half cases.
This individualizes sales, instead of people going in on cases, and trading for the remainder.
HMMM...so retailers make out, WizKids makes out..the collector, well....I guess that depends on how you look at it.

Clix Brix sound to me like a way to make up for the lack fo sales, because with the new ratio you will have to buy less boosters. Buying them in bulk like the clix brix is a way to keep buisness strong at brick and mortar stores.
Scenario play rocks though

Wow, that's better news than I had hoped for. It seems to me that Wizkids has heard our complaints about figure collation and found an interesting and rewarding way to deal with it. Upping uniques to one per three boosters is pretty crazy. I'm not complaining though. It sounds like they're really interested in making things better for "serious" collectors. Additional uniques will help out the casual buyers as well.
The scenario events sound like a lot of fun, and giving each set a strong theme to support the scenario is a definate plus. I'll have to start rounding up my friends for the SuperHero In Training program.
The ClixBricks programs is also good for helping out the local stores. Getting people back into hobby stores is almost always a good thing. More purchases from the Mom-and-pop shops and less through eBay and Walmart is good way of supporting the community.
I'm having trouble seeing negatives in this. Can those of you complaining about this please explain what's wrong with any of this? Aside from the map size. I guess that might be a negative. I like the maneuvering room the bigger maps provide.
By going to a retailer you have the option of buying one of the 4 ClixBrix (per case) instead of buying single Boosters or an entire case?
Or if I buy a case I can then buy a Clix Brix?
I don't get it...
It's like this: Every case will have the normal 48 boosters, BUT they will be shrink wrapped in 4 seperate 12 packs, i.e. 4 clixbricks per case. So, the retailer can either bust open a clixbrick and sell them individually or sell the brick in whole. Each clixbrick package will have a certificate within it that is used to redeem your exclusive LE. Hope that helps.
You dont, theres too many questions in quee already
generics are back btw

i'm not sure this should be classified as a major announcment. but it seems ok to me. more uniques is fun of course and a new weird map should be fun i think...we'll see. BUt major..um...and..btw..what 'other' game are you guys talking abt????
The fact that you can get almost a whole set with half a case is big enough to me... 78 percent less dupes? Thats huge.
People expected Clix 2.0 even though they said it wasnt that. Plus no Rule Changes either Huzzzah!
