Hey Hair10! Is it alright if i just repost all your rulings on the wizkids site over here?

I think that both appointing a Rules Arb for this site to give the most official unofficial rulings would be a good idea, and I also think having a Rules Digest coming out every week would be cool, too. The nominated rules arb could scan over the wk forum and grab any rulings and post them up on the frontpage, and since Hair10 does a lot of their ruleswork over there and we'd be summarizing it over here, it would almost be like he never left!

Although he didn't say he was leaving completely, just leaving his rules arb post... so welcome, new and unimproved Hair10!

It figures. WK did the exact same thing to DemoMonkey 3 or 4 years back on MKrealms because they didn't like him dispensing his Mage Knight comments and helpful rules calls on a site other than the lousy official site.

You know, and I'm sure Frontman will apprieciate the reference I am about to make, with the rules arbitrater (no idea how to spell that word) being carted away to the inaccessable and unappealing wizkids boards, that puts Hairs title in dispute. So A-la Raw/Smackdown split, I vote we nominate an exclusive Rules Arbitrater exclusive to HC Realms. Someone who is knowledgable that the Wizkids Boards can't woo away. Personally I can think of loads of people who would be good for the job.

a while ago, and i suppose intermittently i hear people talk about how their judge, or other players in their group get pissed off because they don't go on this site and don't like that some players get rulings because they are made on this site. i guess it maks sense, but it still sucks. at least there are lots of people over here who know the rules

Yeah, very unlikely. If that was true, then the tournaments and events forum should be shut down to stop advertising for WK Approved Play events.

But it's really really unlikely that that is the case.

Why would that upset anyone since no ruling is tourney legal until it is published in the FAQ?

i have no idea, but i swear when i was just lurking here, that i would read people talking about how they would take rulings from here to show their judge, and the judge would get pissed about the ruling coming from this website and the rules arbitrator. i don't see their problem, but i do remember reading that
