Well then why doesn't it say so? All it does is repeat what's already in the rules with the added phrase saying that being next to someone doesn't magically force you to stop. All that really says definatively is that flyers can keep moving after the attack. Do they even read these things before posting them?
I think this entry was due to confusion, not from me mind you , over the non-flying transporters, like Lockjaw. This is basically clarifying that he can continue the move portion after the attack, as the oppossing figure base doesn't stop him or cause him to have to breakaway mid action.
Thought there would be something about Juggs AE base. RE are AE with Xavier, but V isn't, like it seems to be on the site...instead of RV are AE, but E isn't. (Won't bother mentioning the Ult. Xavier part!)
Right now I am more afraid of someone declaring Power cosmic team ability (still checking to see if this is legal as the team ability is not being wildcarded). Though the 19 point wasp with thuderbolts may be fun with Green lantern team ability.

Yeah, but it doesn't say that. If they wanted to clarify that, they should say that non-flying transporters do not have to stop when adjacent to opposing characters when using the move-attack-move option. That would be a clarification. That FAQ clarification is hardly clear.

Since the Thunderbolts card specifically says that you may not declare either Wildcard Team Abilities or Team Abilities that may not be copied, you have no need to fear someone declaring Power Cosmic team ability.

You're losing me. It does say that. It says "transporters", why would it need to clarify flying vs. non-flying? If they specifically stated "non-flying" it would only cause people to ask "Hey, what about flying transporters?!". It's a rule for transporters in general and overrules any regular flying or non-flying movement rules.

My point is, why not just say that the transporter movement action allows the transporter to ignore opposing figure bases during the movement? If that's what they meant, why didn't they say that?

Because I don't think they completely "ignore" the bases for movement during the attack. Lockjaw still can't move through that figure's square, he just doesn't have to stop if he bases him and wants to keep going. Wouldn't saying "ignore the figure base" allow Lockjaw to move through that occupied square?

B/c if Ghost Rider is moving (and doesn't have his L/C yet) and he moves next to an opposing figure he has to stop.
If Ghost Rider is doing the transporter attack and moves next to an opposing figure (or bases one to attack in close combat, say b/c of Stealth) he can continue moving after the attack.

there you go! It clarifies it better, when you put it that way.

I just re-read the card and think I have been bit by the illiteracy bug (yeah that is it-good excuse-oh boy).
So all of these Wildcards can copy the alternate abilities?
That Is So Flippin' Weak!
Having seen players already pull the Sue Storm/ Spidey 2099/ Jinx/ Prometheus team, I have to say if this remains the "official" ruling, all of my venues are getting a big house rule for that card, if not banned all together.
Not to scoff or anything, but I don't even consider those to be the biggest wild card threats with the feat.

It may just be my play style, but Pulse Wave won't be a top-level option for me vs. F4. Never really liked the power. It'll be good for folks who like to use the PW centerpiece figures like Doom, Nimrod and Phoenix. But I'd rather share attack values, use PD figures, reroll with PC ... or even Thanos. A F4 team could face a different foil in every game during a tournament, and opponents won't have to cater their team that much to deal with it.
And if the F4 feat is the most dominant thing at all the regional events, that's fine by me. It'd be dullsville for one more expansion to come along but still have figures released a year and a half ago (Black Adam, V Hal Jordan) or even a year ago (Thor) still be the cream of the crop.
