Frontman are you taking requests for interviews or do already have some sort of prearranged schedule? Maybe you could run a weekly poll and ask the readers who they would like to see in an upcoming edition.
Have no worries. There will be no HeroClix 2.0 while I'm working on the game. - Seth Johnson
I didn't hate Punisher, and for that I am no longer considered a viable source for movie reviews. My friends like to say...."Hey man, did you like (place movie name here)? Nevermind, you liked the Punisher."
It's not that I loved it, or thought it to be a nominee for film of the year, or make my top 10 Comic Book Movies list.....I went into the movie knowing it would be far from perfect, but also went into to have fun. I had a good time. Thomas Jane was great in my opinion and I was in the mood for gunfire and explosions. I got that.
I'll always take suggestions. I've had a few requests for Hair, some for azs, some for BroMags. It all depends on what I can work out with said individual.

Thanks again for all the goodies Frontman.
Yeah well you can reply, "You might discredit me for liking the Punisher, but then you got to discredit the critics and that leaves you as the minority." Then the tables are turned on him and you start rattling off terrible movies that flat out were terrible but insisting that he loved them.
10-2-08 I just put a bunch of stuff on eBay including a numbered Super Skrull Illuminati and a CoG Galactus. Check it out.
Bad movies can always be fun. Granted, its usually at home on TV with a silluoette of theatre chairs, two robots and a dorky looking guy making wisecracks about the film....
*glad nobody knows about my homemade Venom costume*
I'm not teh only one? :P
Yeah, I have like an official Venom Mask, a shirt that has his symbol printed on it and then from there i Just put on black pants, shoes, and gloves and it's complete.

But as they said in Episode I (yes, something good came out of Episode I) “Your focus determines your reality.” If you want to focus on the negative, expect nothing but the negative in return. If you want to address said negative, and then enjoy the positive, then welcome to what really is reality. Positive and Negative, yin and yang, its all one part of the whole. But you want to be nothing but negative, don’t expect anyone who’s feeling good about the stuff Wizkids has done for all gamers, to be anything but negative if you keep hammering the same issues home. Feel free to air out your grievances, but please folks, let’s try to have something positive come out of it, rather than obnoxious comments and rhetoric. No need for calling folks crybabies, no need for calling someone elitists. No reason to insult a guy who is counting down to the release of “Armour Wars” since he will finally get Dark Pheonix. Let’s try and be a bit more civil to each other, and let’s get excited that Wizkids is finally listening to us here, at HCRealms, and working to give us all something to be positive about!
So you decry rhetoric by spewing... RHETORIC!
Yay!
Those that keep putting a positive spin on everything dull their ability to be part of a solution, especially those who pile on anyone seen as "negative" and even more especially here, where the fan spin is VERY high (and it should be... this is a fan site after all). We should applaud and appreciate those willing to look past the fun they have with the game to see the dark spots that need the healing light of day upon them.
Hey DP, have you figured out a way to shoot webs without one of those Spider-Man toys?
Nooope....plus those don't really work because they come out from the bottom of the wrist, not the top like Venom :P

Oh really? So the only way you can ever be a part of a solution is to be negative?

No where did I say:

DULL, not eradicate.
Say 3 people say "You are great you are great you are great" constantly.
Then say 3 people say "I enjoy the game but X, Y, and Z need some work"
Who are you going to listen to? Of course, the first three because it's easier and more rewarding to bask in the sunshine.
Now reduce the second set to 1. So now its 3 "You are great you are great you are great" and only one person willing to point out things that need correction. Who are you going to listen to? Now it's even easier to discount the one dissentor.
That's the point you missed. By decrying those willing to stand up and ask for improvements in the hobby, you actually weaken Wizkids' desire to improve the hobby.
This is why I appreciate people like Gentlegamer, and Skletapocket, and yes, even Brazil. I can read their threads and see they love the game, and they are willing to ask for changes that many times would make the game SO much better.
It's good to ask for improvements, people. Change is progress (which brings up the old joke about Congress, but we won't go into that), so long as we don't lose sight of being thankful for what we ARE given, as well. Wizkids may have their flaws, and we do have to admit that they are constantly trying new ideas to improve things, but let us all stop to give thanks for what WizKids has already given us.
HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF LITTLE TINY PLASTIC SUPER-HERO STATUES!
Without WizKids, there would be no giant glass display case in my office. Consider this.
Order 66 - It's not just policy, it's fun, too!

So I over-simplified a very simple statement. You think if you're positive about what's going right, your then make it harder to bring about change. Again, as I said before (and since I'm following the lead of most of the negativity here by having to repeat myself, it should fit right in with many "feedback" threads)
What a horrible way to look at things. If you can't be positive yet be effective critically, Wizkids might just change things that ARE good, since noone bothers to give them props along with their concerns when giving them feedback. Surprise, surpise there, that's how its supposed to work. And saying you *gasp* actually like their product for reasons A, B, and C isn't spin, its called feedback. Sadly, in this day and age, most folks see "feedback" and automatically think "time to complain." Which basically is what many on this site do on a daily basis, when never, and I do mean NEVER giving anything positive back.
As a former supervisor and manager, the best way to bring about change with employees is to have the "sandwich" effect, where you present both things they are doing right, and things they are doing wrong. If you strengthen their morale and confidence in what's going right and show where they can improve; more often than not, you get better results in both where they need improvement AND what they are already successful at. Your philosophy says this doesn't happen, that if you have a positive outlook on something, you blunt your chances of improving the areas that need work. Years and years of effective management strategy and thousands of effective leaders say your wrong.
My point originally wasn't to decry anyone being negative about things that need improving, my point is you have to take the GOOD with the bad. Most of the naysayers who post countless times saying how much they've been screwed by Wizkids add ZERO to the game and the site. Zip, nil, nada. (I'm not saying your examples of posters are like this, its a blanket statement.) To keep hammering home that "this is wrong" after days/months/even YEARS that its been introduced to the game shows to me, as well as many others, folks stuck in only one way of playing the game; and have really nothing to add to the community at the end of the day.
Many folks go on and on how it would only be better if Wizkids did this, that, and that. Nevermind that they don't give reasons why, other than "It will be cool." They just would like to never have to deal with retirement, think up new strategies, and want to have flyers once again dominate the game and since they know how to keep the game "balanced," they're the one's Wizkids should listen to, not the guys who are enjoying their product. No, its only the gripe monsters who deserve the attention.
I think far too many times that this site has been nothing but dominated by the complainers and the guys who rather would cut this game down rather than talk anything positive about it, Wizkids, or the hobby as a whole. Far too many years now have I watched as this industry has torn itself down time and time again. I'm personally fed up with seeing guys who claim to be avid "Heroclix" players, do nothing but rip into Brother Mags, Hair, the staff that runs this site, etc; and giving zero back other than lip. That this place sucks, that so and so is horrible, that we need this, we need that; all the while God forbid saying "Thanks" for anything they actually like.
And, as someone who has worked with various game companies over the years, I'm more inclined to listen to guys who go, "Yeah, the game; it's great. I love this part of it. But, I have an idea here to improve this part, and here's why;" versus "You guys suck. You did this to screw players who have supported you for years. You care nothing about us. You're just in it for the money. You stuck it to the convention goers and secondary market." Yeah, let's see, group A over here likes our stuff, group B doesn't seem to. The first group wants to have feedback in the true sense of the word, second group wants to complain about everything they've had wrong in their lives, from DNA up to this afternoon, and blame it all on my game company.
Yeah, let me cater to those in group B. They're oh so much fun to have around in my game and at my events. I love it when guys show up to play in company sponsored events that will do nothing but drone on and on about how much I suck at what I do. That's who Wizkids should be listening to.
