VET Spidey from Mutant Mayhem has 10 movement with Leap/Climb for his first 6 clicks of it. Stairs Taking? No. It would not be Spider-Man!

He made a full move then made a Close Combat attack via Pounce. The Close Combat attack I chose just happened to be Incapacitate.

Still illegal?

Yes, if only because pounce can't be used with L/C. You need L/C to use it but can't use L/C while using it. To use pounce spidey would need to use stairs.

Actually there were a few issues with that move Rich.

-Spidey was on his first click (w3 Damage) couldn't use pounce as his damage is still to high.

- Pounce allows for a close combat attack, INC requires a close combat action. So you can't pounce and INC.

And Ozy/Kasz have it right about not being able to use L/C during the pounce attack.

Wow, I didn't even notice the 3 damage & I thought the Pounce/Incap combo seemed a little off, as well.

Let me know if you've got an alternate move for Spidey, Rich, & I'll make my next move.

I'm afraid they're all correct Rich. As ridiculous as it seems, Pounce can't be used while also gaining the movement benefits from L/C. It's a silly rule.

I didn't know about not being able to use Incap with it though, but I trust DM's rules know-how more than pretty much anyone.

Ozy, let me start off by apologizing to you. I know you were helping Wakandaman out to keep this insanity alive and you have been nothing but patient with me. But, after talking to Wakandaman, I am out.

This started out as fun and I remembered trying to count the days to see if it would clash with my vacation. That was weeks, maybe months, before my vacation two weeks ago. This is too much like work right now and I need to bow out.

Stupid Rule? Sure. I should have known about it though. I just don't have time to keep on top of these things right now.
