Ok Prof, all you have to do is your upgrading/recruiting and submit your team for the annual..............but time is short.

Baron Mordo could see the tide of battle turning in his favor. His day was at hand. Strange would fall and his Master would come to this world to claim it as his own.

But then at the back of his mind Mordo heard a voice that he had not expected to hear, "Baron, I have encountered resistance with returning the object to you and your spell is about to expire."

Lord Recluse, was know for his efficiency and competence, had failed in retrieving the gem of Cytorak (*-DM) to complete the binding.........he was about to answer back to his accomplice as he saw his plan shattered to bits.

The second Ghost Rider had made it to the first and shattered his bonds. They were both free now.

"This will not do at all," said Mordo. He took one more look in Strange's direction before he summoned a gate to take his leave of this mess. Such possibilities had been open only to be ruined by Steven..................again. He would pay for his interference Mordo promised him self. But that would be for another day.

As Mordo stepped thought his dimensional door Strange noticed their enemies loss of focus.

"Our enemies thoughts have been tossed into chaos! The opening for our victory has presented itself. We must push on!"

As the two Ghost Riders turned to face their remaining foes they both opened their mouths and released a wave of Hellfire that incinerated all of the demons in it's path but leaving the Defenders untouched.

As Strange touched down next to the two beings of vengeance he was not sure what was going on between them.

The taller one, who Strange noticed was wearing Ketch's jacked ,nodded to his counterpart before calling out for his bike and riding off in a whirlwind of hellfire.

Dr. Strange, as the Sorcerer Supreme, was one of the most mystically informed beings in the known world had no idea what had just happened.

"Spirit, I am grateful for your assistance, but I have only ever know of the Spirit of Zarathos that is currently bonded to Daniel Ketch..............to be blunt, who, what are you?"

"Sorcerer, your actions here have added my task,
So I will answer that which you ask.

Where there was once one spirit there is now a pair,
I was once the only and now I have been cursed to again wield the penance stare.

When last Zarathos passed from this host to that,
A blood link was found that shattered the path.

Blaze believed himself to be free but it was not meant to be,
Part of the spirit grew hidden, unseen.

But the bonding of this spirit come not of my voice,
Blaze was the holder, this was his choice.

When kin is in danger the call is clear,
Blaze would not let harm come to someone so dear.

Brothers in blood and brothers in spirit, now travel the earth and the evil with in it."

As the Ghost Rider wearing Blaze's jacket retrieved his bike Dr. Strange tried to process what he had been told.

Ghost Rider looked back at Strange

"I tell you now of knowledge untold,
The hosts know not of the link they hold.

The truth will unfold at a later date,
For now vengeance calls and I can not relate."


With that he took off in the opposite direction that Ketch had rode in a similar wake of hellfire.

Banner had reverted back to his regular form and had gathered the others.

"So any chance you can tell us why there are two demon bikers now Doc?" asked Bobby.

Banner looked at Heather, "Double or nothing on him going melodramatic and overly wordy again."

Heather looked at the confused look on Strange’s face and smiled, "I'll take that bet."

Banner had a good feeling about this. As Strange shook away this thoughts he looked at Booby, "I'm not exactly sure Bobby, and I'm too tiered to explain what I know right now. We should head back."

With that they all started to walk out to the cave leaving Heather looking with a smug expression and her hand held out and Bruce with a shocked look on his face.

"But.......and the...........and he..........OH, COME ON!"

As Heather took the money from Bruce she started to follow the others, "Don't be angry Bruce, it doesn't seem to agree with you."

Upgrade Strange to Veteran from Infinity Challenge

If Hellcat Experience is 31 points or less, upgrade her.

And sadly, not enough to recruit Silver Surfer . . . ah well . . . soon.

I don't think I can do anything else for now so that's my upgrades.

Team total was originally 350 on the dot, now its: 386 Points squad build is now 250 points I believe.

And in annuals, doesn't my whole team participate-I'd actually prefer to do that since my characters are all fresh and ready-besides, I get to test out Hellcat having blades/claws/fangs after a pounce attack!

Can't wait for the next stuff.

Durring the annual you whole team does participate................but you don't have to use the highest version unlocked if you don't want to.

ie: With these upgrades you could elect to use the Rk FF Dr. Strange instead of the IC Vet if you were so inclined.

Veteran Strange is 87 points-so he has 1 IXP not 2. And I'm going to go full power on my characters.

Isn't the differnence btw Exp IC Strange 71 pts and Vet IC Strange 87 pts, 16 pts?

Cause I still like to think that 18-16 is 2..............but I've been wrong before.

I merely assumed (which one should never do) that since you typed the number 86 somewhere in there that you were off by one IXP.
