Wizkids is specifically targeting older collectors, collectors who buy online, by dangling a FA SA Iron Man infront of their noses.
I am glad I point-blank bought my Icons starter from an online distributor.
blah, blah, his sig line:__________________
"Hey kids register online, check weekly online for sneak peaks, join us in an online chat, get your faqs online, print that catwoman coupon online, talk with other players online in our forums. But don't buy online" –Wizkids
Dude, are you even serious? Can you PLAY clix online? If you could, wtf would be the point? How long do you think brick-and-mortar stores will have approved play or any type of clix scene if kids are buying all their plasticrack online?
Want to see Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon and Magic take over your local venue, squeezing all you stingy online-buying clixers out? Keep it up!
And about your snotty little sig line: Wizkids would be as foolish to discount the impact of the net on the popularity of their products as they would be to expect gaming stores to advertise their product and host gaming sessions for free.
Why don't you take a few econ courses before you go telling them how to run their company? Stick to talking about 'clix, and leave the business to the businesspeople.
Just so you all know, I'm TOTALLY ready to accept warning pooints for this. Somebody had to say it.
I still say that if someone has a big enough issue with it, I don't know why they would continue to support the product. Yet that is exactly what is done, thus proving that it doesn't matter.
They start a little low (still above average), but they stay consistent for the entire dial.
Iron Man doesn't go below a 15 defense, he has a 9 attack for about 4-5 clicks adn 3 damage the majority of the dial.
Granted, he is kind of spendy for 100 points, but he's very well done.
Plus last click Pulse Wave with a 9 attack. A little pricey, but Outwit always is. Thats the thing, TK him in and he can Outwit the opponents Def Power and than hit them with a Motorcycle or Soda Machine. Then when he's close to finished slap a little Pulse Wave on the enemy and go out with a bang.
AW man! i picked thee worst time to make a no buying clix boosters vow.
i really like ironman i like the figs we will be getting[namely the rest of the '70s x-men, revamp ultron, spider woman and war machine] from this set and this is one cool loookign ironman and that dp coupon. i think i will pass on icons and just save any money[after new car payments] and save up for a brick then an donly then will i go back to my vow.
