"Obviously, they're waiting for us to make the first move," Fate decided.
"And will we?" Blood asked.
"Not just yet," Zatanna decided. "Not without a little more information."
She flew forward into the next room. The others followed her.
"What do you have in mind," Jinx asked.
"Rorrim yaw-eno a emoceb llaw dilos," Zatanna chanted. The wall in front of her shimmered and became transparent. Through it, they saw their foes, waiting just outside, clustered in two groups. The red-caped sorceror with the scarlet cloaked woman and the Native American in one group, the fiery headed demon with the older man and the red-haired woman.
"Doesn't look like they like each other very much," Jinx said.
"No, indeed," Enchantress agreed. "In fact the tension between the two groups is so thick I can feel it."
The quiet is distrubed by a brilliant stream of fire that hits Arcane and holds him like a living thing. When it drops him he is much the worse for wear.
"First blood," Dormammu smiles, "Is such a tasty treat."
Baron Mordo finds Circe who was shielding herself telepathically. "Come out, come out wherever you are," he says and connects a lightning bolt to her so powerful that even he feels the after-effect.
Circe, being a mystic, would cause Baron Mordo 1 click of damage. Remember that the ta doesn't count towards the damage needed to tag the character. and dismiss him from the game...

Mordo's attack is good (I thought I was out of his range, but I was wrong. Dormammu's line of fire is clipped by the wall between I and J11 though. (If I draw a line from Arcane to Mordo it goes right by the edge of the wall, just barely clearing it. Since Dormammu's to the left of Mordo, his LoF would pass further to the left, thus passing through the wall)
My bad, you're right. I'll pass on Dormammu's move.
We should determine how we take figures out of a game. We've already established there needs to be a damage attack, then the figure must be tagged. What I wonder is once the 'attacking' figure comes in to tag should he a) require another move the next turn to tag or b) have to have a successful attack roll once he bases his target, allowed within the same move, to tag and therefore eliminate the figure.
A is less complicated but I prefer B just for time's sake (A will leave us chaisng each other all night). What's your take? Any other ideas/modifications?

I think B is good. With all the Phasing out there, I think you're absolutely right. We'll spend forever moving up to tag someone only to have them move away. Being able to tag the same turn they move up, even though it requires an attack roll will make it faster.
Don't forget to show Mordo's click of damage. For ease of tracking which figures are taggable, I suggest something like what I did below with Circe, marking her with a "*". This will differentiate between characters who have taken damage from attacks and those who have taken Mystic damage or pushing damage.
Shaman's Barrier leaves me with very little to do. Except clear.

Predictably then Strange will phase to M8 where he'll attempt to tag Circe. Needs 4, rolls 4. Circe is down. Not that it helps right now but until otherwise said, Strange will share Wandas' Ultimates ta.
This game may take awhile...
Just a question here...with Strange having repulsor shield would he not be able to be hit by Fate whose damage on the initial clicks are psychic blast?. Do I make sense?.

Dr. Strange phases like a thief in the night and appears right next to Circe. He whispers, "Sleep" before she can even utter a word. In a moment she is out and disappears from the Astral plane as quickly as Strange moved towards her.
"My...allies...we have made a start," he telepathically shares with his makeshift team.
Well, Psychic Blast is an optional power, so I could simply declare that Fate wasn't using it. Since Strange doesn't have damage reducing powers, I wouldn't really need Psychic Blast against him amyway. Still, being immune to the extra damage from RCE isn't bad, and while it's not like anyone really uses Force Blast much, that's something too.
Start with Jinx to N11
Arcane attacking Mordo, with Demon Enhancing his damage to 3. AV9 on DV15 +2 for ESD, +1 for all the hindering in the way. Needs 9. Jinx and Fate both looking on. Gets 7. First reroll is 5. 2nd reroll is 11. Knew all that PC had to be good for something. 3 to Mordo.
Zatanna, Enchanced by Demon's power blows out the wall in I9/J9
Dr. Fate targets Shaman through the hole in the wall. AV9 on DV16 +1. Needs 8. Gets 3. No good.
Enchantress to K16
Demon shuffles around a bit.

"Then it is time for us to take one of theirs down too," Arcane decided. He targeted the only opponent that was visible, Baron Mordo. He raised his hand and a blot of magic shot forth. Mordo intercepted it with a shield. "More..." Arcane demanded. "I need more."
"Then you shall have it," Dr. Fate said, putting his arm on Arcane's disfigured shoulder. Jason Blood and Jinx added their own magical energies to his. Arcane's bolt doubled in intensity and Mordo's shield shattered under the renewed assault.
"Very good," Fate said. "Zatanna, how about an opening?"
"Raeppasid llaw!" She waved her hand and suddenly where a moment ago a wall separated the group from the outside there was nothing. Fate saw Shaman preparing for some rite and struck immediately before his target could react. Only Shaman didn't need to react.
"Really," Twoyoungmen said. "Did you think I'd start something like this without erecting wards first? What kind of amateur do you take me for?"
Mordo tries to attack Arcane. Needs 7, rolls 7. Arcane is incapped. 1 click, 2 tokens. We need to decide if we want to call this the required damage or not and since I've been setting the rules I'll let you call it. I sort of see it like the Mystic ta, where it's more of a backlash and wouldn't count. Same with mc (although I that would make Lorelei useless so I'm kind of baised here).
Lorelei to I14.
Dormammu at H14.
Shaman barriers JKLM12. He'll also outwit Fate's pc.

"Baron Mordo will not be troubled by the likes of you!" Mordo yelled reacting mostly out of hurt with a weak retaliatory spell that hit Arcane with little damage.
"We must be prepared," Shaman says, "They are spreading their forces." He calls upon the trees and they move branches to hide the group as best he could.
"I'm impressed, Michael," Wanda smiles.
Lorelei stares at her nails, "I don't know, I could have done better".
Well, we did say that damage from pushing wouldn't count toward making a figure vulnerable, and when you get down to it, that's what Incapacitate is, so I'd say no for Incapacitate damage. As for Mind Control, I don't think a successful MC roll by itself would make someone vulnerable, but an attack from a MCed attacker should, so if Lorelei Mind Controlled Dr. Fate to attack the Demon and Fate's attack succeeded, then the Demon could be dispatched, but Fate, who had not yet taken damage (except for the retaliatory Mystics damage) could not. Nor could Lorelei, even though she would have taken a point of damage for MCing a 100 point figure. That damage shouldn't count either. Sound reasonable?
Demon does a little dance.
Enchantress runs out to E16 to tag Mordo. AV6 (yeah, I forgot to push her out of her activation click) on DV14, needs 8. Gets 2, trips over a garden gnome and bloodies her nose. (I assume a critical miss on a tag roll would still inflict self-damage. Let me know if you think otherwise.)

"I've got Mordo," the Enchantress sent telepathically to the others, "...or maybe not. Sorry."
"Don't worry about it," Dr. Fate said. "We'll get him." Then to Jason, "I think it's time."
Jason Blood sighed. "I knew it would come to this. It always does." His voice modulated into a chanting tone. "Gone, gone O form of man, and rise the Demon, Etrigan!"
A puff of sooty smoke and the smell of brimstone permeated the room. From the smoke, the yellow-skinned form of the Demon emerged.
"A new piece has been released into this game,
To dispatch our foes from whence they came!"
