The world of the Flash is one where everything is viewed with the ability to react almost before an event occurs.
Case in point, the Green Goblin chorts. That signals something to the Flash. Goblin reaches for a pumpkin bomb. Before he can toss it the Flash is there, pulling out the bomb and smashing the remains on the Goblins pasty face.
Flash even finds time for a joke, "Didn't they teach you at Goblin school not to play with pumpkin bombs?". The joke falls flat and, ironically, it was coming up with the joke that took more effort than the attack.
Hyde pushes to attack Batman, AV9 on DV16, needs 7. Gets 10 (5+5) Batman takes 3 and knockback to P19, which really runs counter to what I had planned. Well, at least his Outwit's gone. And his Willpower.
Green Goblin attacks Flash. AV9 on DV19. Needs 10. Gets 7.
Scarecrow tries to MC Quicksilver. AV7 on DV16, needs 9. And gets 10! Ooh cool. Okay, Quicksilver will go Hypersonic (move halved to 6 for starting in hindering) move to O18 and attack Batman. AV8 on DV14, needs 6. Gets 5. Too bad. Quicksilver runs back to end at M16.

"They say you're tough," Hyde said, looming over Batman. "Let's see how tough." He raised his fist above his head.
"Slow, obvious," thought Batman, when suddenly he was sent reeling from a surprising blow from the other fist. "Damn," Batman thought. "That hurt. He's strong, and a lot more cunning than I gave him credit for. Underestimated him. Rookie mistake. I won't make it again."
Hyde guffawed, as much at Batman's pain as at the Green Goblin's futile attempts to hit the Flash.
"You think you're going to hit me with that oversized pig-sticker?" Quicksilver asked Scarecrow. "Think again."
"Oh, I don't need my scythe. I've got a far more formidable weapon." A spray of gas shot forth from the Scarecrow's gloves.
"What...?" Quicksilver stammered, "What have you done?" He looked down and saw the flesh on his legs burning away to bone, which began to crumble to dust. "Nooooo!" Quicksilver screamed in terror and reacted instinctively to run, even as his legs withered away to nothing. Batman grabbed him as he fell to the floor, grabbing a syringe from his utility belt and injecting Quicksilver with the contents. His body metablolized it in no time.
"My...my legs!" He gasped. "They're okay!"
"They always were," Batman told him. "Scarecrow's gas makes you see your worst fear. I've just given you the antidote."
You forgot to roll for ss for Quicksilver's possession. I rolled a 1 so it's good.
OK Batman to P11, since Pietro is now blocking...
Pietro attacks Scarecrow. Needs 6, rolls 6. (I've been getting a lot of the EXACT rolls I need of late). 2 to Scarecrow, Pietro ends at O20 (moved half due to hindering).

"Pietro Maximoff is no one's pawn," an angered Quicksilver states and proudly pounds the Scarecrow and disappears before the Scarecrow can utilize his fear gas.
"No one's pawn?," the breathless villain asks, "You were cowered into becoming part of Magneto's Brotherhood, surely that counts for something."
Pietro seethes in frustration.
Flash calls over to him, "Don't let him get to you, Pietro, it's the Scarecrow way to use our own weaknesses. It's the only skill he's got."
Getting advice from the Flash, however, only makes Quicksilver seethe a bit more.
Cool. Flash will try to attack Goblin using quake. Needs 6, rolls 6 (again with those exact rolls). 2 to Goblin, 1 total. Plus Scarecrow is affected and he is koed. Also Mr. Hyde takes 1 after toughness.

Can I express here my frustration in how Pietro is being treated in Marvel now?. First Wanda gets ruined now him...argh...oh well in 6 months it will all be a dream. A VERY bad dream.
Not quite up to date with everything going on in the comics right now, but I'm sure once the whole House of M thing is done, things will probably go back to normal (despite their assurance that these things really rock the whole universe and all, most don't).
Nicely done with Flash. Honestly didn't see that coming. Should have, but didn't.
Green Goblin will try to Breakaway. Gets 3.
Hyde tries to hit Flash (yeah right) AV8 on DV19, needs 11. Gets 3.

"Come on Hyde," the Green Goblin decided. "Let's leave this party." But the Goblin's glider sputtered where it was.
"I'm sorry, were you looking for these?" Flash asked, holding up some batteries that he had removed from the Goblin's glider while the Golbin had spoken.
"Buffoon," Hyde growled. "I'll crush you."
"Ya know," the Flash commented, suddenly behind Hyde while the villain's fist whiffed through thin air, "I really don't think that's gonna happen."
Yeah, Hyde suffers from Infinity Challenge Statitis. I have a theory about the game designer's ideas at the beginning. They didn't want to discourage players by making it "too hard" to hit their opponents, so they gave out high AVs like candy and DVs were overall pretty low. Of course, when hitting was so easy, they had to make it so that you didn't do too much damage all at once, lest you wipe out your opponent in one turn, so 2 damages were everywhere, 3s were uncommon and there weren't more than a handful of figures who could do 4 or more.
Green Goblin tries to breakaway again. Gets 1.
