Story: "Lady... this arm has taken abuse like that for longer than you have existed. If you think I can't hotwire it, you'd be... sadly mistaken."

Kane pulled Revenge II and its currently curative properties back from his arm, then blocked another of Spasm's knife strikes.

"Thanks for the tip, kid. I'll keep that in mind, I promise."

With that, Kane went back to his dodging and weaving, hearing the swishing of the knife and the rustling of the bushes. He loosened up again, trying to get back into the flow of dodging the attacks again, and succeding.

"Chipp was better with pointies than you, and that's saying something!"

Meanwhile, in another set of bushes, Militsya was loading her gun, setting her sights first on Mercy, then switching to Brisk as her original target moved off toward the main building. Taking advantage of the boy's oogling, she squeezed the trigger, and Brisk's foot flamed up in pain as it was hit. Militsya grinned, then prepared another shot, before realizing that her gun had jammed.

"Blasted capitalist piece of ####..."

Bourgeoisie continued his attempts to recruit Brian into his 'family', glancing back at Iron Curtain and giving him another signal.

"Justice... these people claim to offer it, but do they? They strike with convictions, but are their convictions just? We both know that they are not. Come, join us... we will protect you from these hypocrites."

As he was speaking, Iron Curtain removed the pressure of his protective field from Brian's body, instead placing it over his hands, drastically reducing the amount of power any blasts from his hands would have. Bourgeoisie smiled slickly. These employees were no tougher than their boss... he glanced at the CEO, deciding what to do with him...

Actions: First things first, Spasm is definently going to push for another flurry/blades on Kane. Maybe this basing her wasn't such a good idea... Attack 1 needs 6 or better, rolls 10. Kane's super senses says... nothing with a 4. Her blades says 3 clicks. She goes for her next attack, needs a 3+, gets 8. Blades is 1. Yeah, so after another 4 damage, I'd say this was probably a stupid idea... Spasm takes 1 click.

Militsya pushes for the sake of a ranged combat attack on Brisk. 10 AV vs 16 DV + 2(ESD)= 8 or better. (No hindering bonus for Superman Ally TA). Needs 8, rolls 11. 2 to Brisk. No push damage because of willpower.

Bourgeoisie outwits Brian's... RCE. (Yes, by using the Superman Enemy TA) He will, as usual, mastermind onto Kapital and then the CEO.

Iron Curtain will, as usual, defend all adjacent friendlies.

Story:
Mercy heard Kane's yelp of pain and shook her head. This battle was not going too well yet. Looking up at Heru and Brian, she called to them.
"Okay, guys, it looks like you might need some assistance. I'll be up in a second."
Still a bit winded, and with a giant wall to scale, she allowed herself a few minutes to rest.
Hopefully, they'd be able to hold on until she got there.

Story: "There's no way you can beat me, lady! Just give up!"

Kane's mind games were obviously not working well on Spasm... he wondered if there was still a mind locked up in that feral mess.

"Maam, if you could hold your excitement, I can give you my autograph! Just stop trying to kill me, I'm alergic to being evicerated, I break out in a bad case of death every time it happens."

Slash, slash, whoosh

Kane's grin appeared back on his face.

"You know, your tactics aren't that good, you could mix up the pattern instead of just swinging in my general directio..."

She brought a knife up from below, and another from the side, and Kane teleported behind her, then leaping off the wall to land where was now behind the experiment.

"Man, you're as dense as Andy! Swing swing swing, no variation whatsoever!"

Another few slashes went by his ear.

"Well, I guess even Andy had nice form... and fists instead of knives..."

He dodged again.

"And a much better voice, which is definently saying something. Some people can shatter glass with pure sound, we could make glass commit suicide out of the pain from listening to our dynamic duet..."

It didn't matter whether Spasm was even listening to his talking or not, it was helping Kane focus... and he needed to get these memories dealt with again... stupid drop down attackers, stirring things up he'd rather not remember...

Story: As Mercy walked away things grew very silent. He then heard a rustling in the bushes. "Who's there??" He then screamed in agony as a bullet came flying through the bushes and his foot. Story: Brian turned to see Sean be hit by a bullet and then run away. He wanted to go help his brother but he knew he had his part in this mission and he had to stick to it. After resting for a minute he descided to take the offensive. Brain flew out toward another wall. "Have to play it smart. Got to play it smart. Gotta be smart" He said to himself. He saw the enemies as he dashed forward. Something odd was going on. None of them had moved forward, only stood there ground. Never-the-less it didnt matter he dashed behind the wall, so that he would maybe be able take out someone. Brain pressed his back against the wall. he looked to his right and saw and enemy. There's my taget he wispered.

Timeline shook his head in disgust. "I feel like I'm watching a bad football game..." The simplest of missions was going downhill fast. It started out so blurry and continued into distortion. An unpleasant look came across Sebastion's face. He closed his eyes for a few moments and sighed a heavy breath. One thought passed through his mind... there's still a chance... "Gigawatt, I think I know what you are trying to do. If you can rescue the CEO all of you can just get out of there ASAP. The longer you stay, the worse it's going to become. Be mindful of the enemies on the rooftop and the roaming droids. Should they try to ambush you, try spinning your body really fast to throw them off..." Sebastion pauses for a moment. "Did that sound as stupid as I think it did?"

"Just like my companions," Gigawatt thought to himself. "Always wasting their time with violence when there is a far more important task at hand to deal with. It's a shame my thrusters haven't been upgraded recently, but I was designed for offense."

Timeline was still a worthwhile ally, he knew that, and Kane was likely sacrificing himself to keep what may have been their most sinister ally occupied. His odds of survival were decreasing by the second, but seconds were all that Gigawatt was going to need.

He flew onto the rooftop, ignoring his teammates that were cowering while attempting to look heroic. He took cover and stopped. He had seen the CEO, and saw the best path for rescue. It would take a moment for him to decide his next move, considering the CEO was guarded on both sides.

The plan had merit, but would it work?

Sorry Discombobulous, I haven't done my villian post yet... I'll credit that move to after this move.

Story: Blockade looked forward in terror, seeing Brian Harris standing there preparing to torch him. He was about to put up a wall out of reflex, when he felt his body surrounded by a shield from Iron Curtain, and Kapital's body was in front of his own. Blockade breathed a sigh of relief, then noticed a few robots that they hadn't brought with them...

Threat detected

In unison, the probe droids moved forward, scanning the area. They hadn't found the source of their anomalous data, but they had found Jezebel... their sensors indicated she was a threat, so they attacked. Succesfully.
