Once V Supes only has a 5 range with HSS it will be much easier to compete against him. I defintiely recommend getting a V Quicksilver...he's a little too expensive for a 300 point team but anything above and he is AWESOME with his uber high defense and full dial of HSS...

Professor Xavier use to be overpriced but with Inspiring Command he makes a great centerpiece for alot of cheap X-Men.

The feats in this set really benefit the X-Men greatly things to all the ESD and Combat Reflexes they have....

I think the problem is that X-Men pieces are NOT competive, UNLESS you make an X-Men team and play it as such. The X-Men TA is too expensive, and too easy to waste. If, however, you consider it to be a vital part of your strategy when team building, and you use it effectively, making an X-Men team isn't hard.

Come to think of it, it would be REALLY cool if they had an X-Men alt TA that actually cost NEGATIVE points to play, making the pieces more competative when not using it.

Okay, here we go:

Soulsword Wielder seems fun, but very vulnerable and front loaded. Still OK.

Goblin Princess rocks. Two support powers and above average stats. A bit overcosted though.

Symbiote is crazy. Boring crazy.

Kraven the Spider is interesting, but I wouldn't use him.

Kyle Richmond is acceptable. So much better of CCE worked with...well, anything. But, he's still OK I guess.

Brunhilde is just like all the other versions of Valkyrie. Nice stats and good powers, but attack drops like a rock.

Sam Wilson is like Archangel, but cheaper, better and less likely to fall over.

Monica Rambeau seems fun if you supe her up w/T-Bolts. An internal interference field would neuter her.

Micheal Roth is cool. Stealth, good damage w/RCE, perplex and turns from into a close combatant.

Dr. Chen Lu is very front loaded. I like the vet better.

Aleksei Mikhailovich is a low-end brute. Pick someone better.

James Sanders was born for Armor Piercing, but is also front loaded.

Lester has a consistent AV, but low defense and damage.
