X-Men #187 - Rated 7 - I don't buy that Remy would want to "cleanse his past" by killing Rogue. That was stupid. Polaris gets some kind of powers back (her own faked via Apoc tech I think) and goes to Egypt to find Apoc. Not to much really happens beside we see Polaris, Gambit, and Sunfire aren't doing to well. All build up to the "new" team.
Regarding Remy- He lost Rogue and felt that maybe Apocalypse had the answers that the mutants were seeking post HoM. In doing so, he turned his back on what he spent his life as an X-Men doing. Also, remeber that Apocalypse's alterations change his subjects, so it's totally buyable, that he could bring himself to kill Rogue. Afterall, Warren was trying to take out his former X-Factor teammates when he was Death. He struggled with his feelings and those induced by Apoc's machinery for quite sometime.
I wish the make up this team didn't change so much. Though it's been a roller coaster ride, since Morrison left, in terms of quality writing, but I've really enjoyed the characters included on the team since Grant's run.

One thing that confuses me. I'm not reading FF, but I thought that the group was supposed to be split in their support for/against the Registartion Act? In this issue, we see three of them (assuming that Johnny is still in the hospital here) on Iron Man's taskforce. What gives?
I got the feeling from Civil War #2 that Sue is teetering on the verge of joining Cap, but hasn't quite gotten there yet.
"Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad,
He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"
eh, she's working for Cap in the Underground resistance.
And she did die in "Death In The Family", but it was a splintered reality. Kinda "What If" like.
I love Young Avengers, but YA #12 seemed really...rushed to me, I guess. it felt like Heinberg was trying to force more into the issue than it could hold, even with the few extra pages. heck, they could've taken that extra story out of the back and used those pages for some extra story.
I really, really hope that YA doesn't lose its flavor. There is so much that could be done with the story and the characters and I'd hate to see this book ruined. I want to beleive that it was rushed because Heinberg has other projects to focus on and so he's not as focused as he could be if he just had YA, but I'm not him nor close to him so I don't know for sure.
