So the SpaceKnights - a group I sorely hope is just named after the previous holders of that title and aren't actually those beings that originate from another galaxy and fight Dire Wraiths - are stuck in the Midwest? Sounds really intergalactic "SpaceKnight" to me.
Ah well, probably better than us getting stuck with a bunch of psychos in Colorado...first the Real World, now Venom and Green Goblin (I know the original team was based here for some time but being they always had the mountains right in the middle of freakin' Denver for some stupid reason I just figured Hawkeye and Co. didn't know geography. ).
Btw, isn't it Hulkling - the Young Avenger - and not Changeling (dead depressed X-men character that was used as Morph's template) that disguised himself as Pym?
So, basically #6 was a "filler" issue that didn't really progress the story except for a few pages, in my opinion.
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

And one we had to wait how long for? I agree that very little of consequence was actually accomplished in this issue. Sometimes I hate the fact that I feel compelled to complete things I've started, otherwise I might have been able to drop this story.
And to think I had to choose between CW and Annihilation due to my limited budget. Sounds like I made the wrong choice. Oh well, that's pretty much par for the course for me.
HULK HOLDS AN ENTIRE PLANET TOGETHER UNTILL THE EXPLOSIONS STOP! Eat your heart out Superboy Prime.
I think he was only pulling the continental plates back together, not the whole smorgasborg of a planet... not that that isn't impressive. I mean, seeing that, I wouldn't like, go up to him and make jokes about his Mother, but, you know... there ya go.
And hey, SBP MOVED planets AND broke reality. The Hulk hasn't done either of those yet.
So as you would normally put it: a few teams are going to be scattered for a bit but we know they'll eventually get back together and lasting changes won't really be anything of import plus there's a whole other year of stuff to really lead into the payoff?
Huge difference.
Coming out of CW, the Universe WILL be changed, CW won't end with Cap and Ironman getting back together and putting the old Avengers back. The FF won't put it all behind them and continue on as normal etc... The IDC and IC events ENDED with everything being put back to the status quo.
As I posted before, I would have loved if it after IC Batman, Superman and Wonderwoman split and went with the Outsiders, JLA and JSA respectively. We would all know sooner or later they are goign to get back together, but event would have given us something new, a new place to go, new stories to telll etc... Thats what CW is doing, which is pretty much the best you can ask from from a comic company.
Theres only one Return, and it ain't of the King, its of the Jedi.

When the #### did that happen? I thought there were a bunch of Watchers but they eached watched a different realities?

The best part? Looking at that failed character, The Sentry. He's all powerful. Universe shaking. Yet all he does is talk or pose.
If I remember correctly, the Sentry is almost powerless or extremely depowered in the Negative Zone (see his last miniseries where he took the Hulk in the NZ with him to protect him) so he really shouldn't be a huge factor in this upcoming battle seeing as the prison is in the NZ.

I forgot about that but you're right, he shouldn't be a factor in that fight at all. Unless the prison's tech. cancel's out those effects on him.
Theres only one Return, and it ain't of the King, its of the Jedi.
But the Pro-Reg still have the best side IMO. Iron Man, Sentry (maybe depowered, but whatever), Warbird, the pshco thunderbolts etc.
That might be the biggest advantage..having the psychos on their side.
Oh definitly Cap's team is going down hard. It's the only way this could end from the minute it started. I mean if Cap's side wins... what happens? Tony goes "Oh your right Cap, that ### kicking set me straight!"
I mean, for Civil War to mean anything Cap has to lose because you need a change at the end. Maybe Cap and a few characters will escape and form the Secret Avengers. Or maybe they're a pro reg team too
My guess... Cap and the gang gets captured. Tony takes care of shield.
Bucky of some such (like Mr JTR suggests) ends up running around as Cap to keep up the image Cap hasn't been captured.
The Anti-Reg heroes end up getting screwed later on this year by having half of their forces locked up. Either a giant WW3 involving the Inhumans, Atlantis etc... or something from the inside. Say someone in the governemnt taking control of everything for his own use. Via say the chips that control the villainish thunderbotls who will probably end up rivaling the real Pro Reg heroes in numbers.

The fact that we have the Might Avengers and T-bolts post Civil War, and the "Secret/New Avengers" and Spider-Man etc... are on the run basically tells us who wins that fight.
The only way Cap wins that fight is if (and its not like they havn't done this before) all the press on the T-Bolts and Mighty Avengers and Spider-man being on the run etc... is just a big smoke screen.

Well actually... i've been thinking couldn't Cap and company win? I mean... what even would be "winning?" They break out all the other heroes... and get away, everyones on the run again.
I mean... that's all he has to be aiming for isn't it? As much as Cap disagrees with registration it's not like he's going to kick the American people out of office by booting the president and congress. At most he'd free everyone... and I guess... keep freeing everyone until the american people change their mind. It'd be stupid story wise for him to win.... but he techincally could by just escaping with everyone.
I still say Patriot had the right idea. Go on strike. Have all the anti-regs leave the country and go international. Let them fight crime in other countries while the USA ends up getting blown up a bit. Might not be the most heroic thing... but I mean i'm sure other countries could use some help superheroing too.

Win as in - crush the pro-reg. side (physicall and/or in number), destory the prison, end registration or the hunting down of unregistered heroes etc...
It does depend on what winning and losing means in that fight. At the end it will probably be a "both sides lost this war" thing.
