They'll kill Isis, Black Adam will get ticked, and thus the war shall begin. Or I could be wrong.
And the new Dr Fate will be... Wolverine's long-lost son. Or not.
It's my belief (and hope!) that the new Fate will be none other than The Question.
Just think: Renee's taking him back to Namda Parda.
Ralph and Nabu are in Namda Parda.
Renee's going to do anything and everything to help Charlie stay alive.
Just imagine...a Fate with the power to weave reality that questions reality itself!

That.... actually makes a lot of sense. Then all three "big deaths" will have really been metaphors.
And the fanboys who are angry that their favorite characters are dead/dieing are so relieved by the fact that their characters came back they won't crticize the changes as much.

I try.
Plus instead of killing off characters, I like to 'promote' them. How much more development can Renee do? As a mortal, not much. As Joe Hispanic Lesbian Ex-Cop, there's little she can do that wouldn't get stale. Solution: Promote her to The Question.
But what about Charlie? TWO Questions? Or have him, one of DC's more popular lower listers killed? Heck no! Let's promote him also. Who could he become though? It'd have to make sense, it'd have to be something near where he is, of course, and it'd have to be a solution that can heal him also.
Oh, look, hi empty Helmet of Fate!
Plus the Whisper A'Daire League gave us the hint early on. Question and Renee hit them and one of the mooks blurts out along the lines of, "The Questions? Here?" Notice the plural...and notice the fact that it was during the prophecy book thread that this happened. Prophecies are about the past and the future...hmmmm...

Well, that's easy. One night, years ago, your Mother and Father, who were very much in love, took off their clothes, kneeled before their bed and prayed to the magic stork. Then, some nine months or so later, you were delivered by said stork. Years later, you went online, found this site and here you are.
Actually i think that Vic will live in Nada Parabat(sp?) but there and only there, if he leaves he dies, and Rene will take up the mantle of the question.
if you read this then you lost 10 seconds you'll never get back.

Namda Parbat, but if he lives there, then he's effectively retired. That puts a very popular character into limbo. And opens up plot holes down the line when people want to use Vic out and about in the world. That's even worse than killing him, for if he dies, one can always write a way back.

It could always be a temporary retirement. He may need a year or so to recover and heal himself. I like the idea of him taking some time off and coming back in a mini-series or brand new series in a year or so.
I think BIG things are in store for Buddy, he's not done just yet. Morrison won't let DC get rid of him that easy, and there has to been an underlying plot we haven't seen why a bunch of cosmic heroes decided to bring a man who can mimic animal powers into space with them.

I like how they showed the Origin of Animal Man recently, so I wasn't completely in the dark that these yellow guys where the ones who gave him his powers.

After a few weeks of 52 being kinda slow for me, the last few have been punching me in the face and laughing at my tears.
Also, the Black Adam causing WW3 idea is freaking awesome. I've been praying for Isis' death since the beginning so BA can go bat guano crazy
