DOOM has returned to reek havok on Hulk and whoever else. This Hulk thing is the fault of that blasted Reed Richards and DOOM has said so for a many year and much more to come.
"Surrender! Yield to DR. DOOM and DOOM will give you a swift death."
I hope for a double page hulk smashing a wall behind tony and reed... screaming " hulk smash!!!"
I was hoping to see the Hulk pick up tony and smashing him into Reed, thru a wall. Tony and Reed need to die. It must be painful and brutal and on panel. Just like seeing Norman Osborn and Gwen Stacy. That was painful and brutal as well as on panel. Cept, I don't want to se the Hulk do to Reed and Tony what Norman did to Gwen. I mean, eww.

I don't like Hulk because I find most of his stories dull.
What's exciting, then? Or, rather, what have you read of Hulk? Which writer?

I don't care about Banner, and think Hulk is kind of unoriginal.
Unoriginal in the sense that it borrows from Robert Louis Stevenson? Sure. But what writers do with the premise is another story.

I much prefer Mr. Hyde, who's even closer to the source.
Closer to the source maybe, but much more two-dimensional

Hulk's inclusion on teams drives me insane (why would they keep such a threat to humanity on a team and regularly send him to fix messes?).
Ever heard the saying "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer?" Best way to keep tabs on a threat like the Hulk is to keep him close to those who could (possibly, on a good day) take him out.

And his massive list of feats (often gross exaggerations of his strength, durability, ect.) bother me.
Superman, anyone? Hulk has a power (exponential strength), and uses it accordingly. I don't see how he's any different from, say, the Flash in that regard.

Big whup, he can clap and knock people back.
And break the sound barrier (sonic boom) in doing so.

His stories put me to sleep too. His power level doesn't really bother me though.
Couldn't tell you which Hulk writers I've read...I normally only pay attention to writer's names if I actually LIKED the story...

I can't remember which issue ( I believe it was this years Hulk annual), but it has a short story about Amadeus Cho hacking into one of Reed's computers and trying to find the Hulk. He and Reed get into an in depth conversation as to why the Illuminati did what they did and Cho basically throws it back in his face with stories of the Hulk saving the Fantastic Four, The Avengers and several other super heroes. He also mentions how he was friends with The Inhumans and how the gave him a crystal that showed him his past battles so he could remember all his friends and foes. It will be interesting to find out how they tie-in. In this story Reed discovers that the Hulk isn't where they thought they sent him. Later they show Reed and Tony conversing and Reed warns Tony that the Hulk isn't where they thought and if he comes back he is going to have a lot of friends on his side. It was a good story. When I get home tonight, I'll try and dig it out and post the issue number.

The Amadeus Cho stuff happened in the recent Incredible Hulk 100. The crystal was given to the Hulk back when he was pardonned (just before Secret Wars) I believe.

Then I can't really refer you to a better writer. Ah, well.
Well, give me a writer and storyline that you think are the BEST examples of interesting Hulk. If it's a TPB so I can buy the whole story at once, so much the better.

It's quite simple...the incredible HULK is going to set a few things straight!!!
Is gonna wash some heads that have been desperately asking for it (e.g. Ironman). He's simply gonna beat some sense into them
