Question: Can entrench protect you from a critical strike (so you wouldn't take the possibly 6 clicks).
This has been answered. A roll of 12 against an entrenched character is NOT a critical hit and will NOT trigger Critical Strike.
"Come on Hulk! Where's the old boasting? The battle cries? Why aren't you bellowing about how you're 'the strongest one there is'? Could it be because... you know it's not true?"
"No. Because it's just too obvious."

SO can dissent be used to outwit Power Cosmic or Quintessence? Or since it is worded "outwit a team ability as though it were a power", does that prevent those TAs from being Dissented because they prevent powers from being countered? Sorry if this has been brought up slready, or if it's an obvious answer. It seems that the spirit of Power Cosmic and Quintessence would prevent them from being countered, but the wording for dissent is odd. Just curious.
...but remember that using Protect The Innocent is a free action, and you only get one action (free or otherwise) with the MC target.
I just wanted to point out that the above is incorrect. The free action granted by Protect the Innocent is not an action you assign to any character, it's a free action that a player gets to take due to the BfC card being in play. Characters under the influence of Mind Control could not choose the Protect the Innocent action as their MC action, because only players can use the ability.
So, the real question here becomes whether or not a player can use the free action of P.T.I. during the Mind Control action. Since free actions (like Perplex from other characters) are usually barred from use in the middle of Mind Control or other actions, and the P.T.I. action is not something a character can choose to do as its MC'ed action, I'd say:
No, you can't use P.T.I. to get rid of a bystander that's adjacent to a character that's only friendly due to Mind Control.
Of course, there's only a single Uncommon and 2 Uniques available with MC that anybody could pull in the Marquee... so this is really more of an issue for a future FAQ.

Since there are no Quintessence characters available in the Marquee, this is probably more of a question for the Rules forum... Luckily, it seems someone else already got the answer for you:

I stand corrected.
So, if you pull an ultra-rare chase fig (and actually play him instead of putting him in a nice glass case for safekeeping ) and happen to face a fig with Decent, I suppose this could actually come up. {I'd really like to hear about it if it does, of course. }
