an Alaskan that killed off the last team (and giving him the suit of their main iconic superhero)
As a Canadian, I am proud to see the roll of Vindicator played by an Alaskan Mailman.....it would have only been a slightly larger slap in the face if it was an Alaskan Malamute. WOOF!
KILOWOG not KILOWAG, KILAWOG or KILAWAG ROGUE not ROUGE (which happens to be RED in French) GRAVITON not GRAVITRON (Decepticon that never got made?)
You, sir, obviously do not share my lamentable attraction to elderly illustrations of the opposite sex. Now all I have to ogle is the grandma from Bone. Thanks a lot for your support!
Well, if you don't mind your octagenarian hotties being a bit 'chunky', there's always the occassional Ma Hunkle appearance in JSA ...

Aunt May did the coma thing before, came out of it for one last day, told Pete she knew he was really Spider-Man, died and it was a great storyline... Then that was ruined, as it was an actress paid by Norman "dead" Osborn. The real May had been secreted away by Pete. Pete found her while looking for May, his daughter. He found May, but not the one he thought he would find. How shocking.
Totally ruined the previous tale of Aunt May's death.

Hey, at least that Malamute might be able to save a life when Arachne keels over in the snow and needs to be dragged to safety. Mush, dog, mush!

Beta Ray Bill, a guy who's not even FROM Earth, signed on with the American superhero registration act, and was assigned to..Canada?
Not sure he actually signed onto the American side of things, but he's definitely going to Canada for the new Alpha Flight. I got the impression that USAgent left the US for Canada in reaction to the Civil War fallout, but they've yet to clarify any of that.

Wolverine and the X-Men looks to be personally designed to for me, minus one glaring absence: Quentin Quire. Nevermind! All is well!

Wasn't the USAgent assigned to help Canada by Tony and/or SHIELD? That Civil War special that came out a while back had him on the pro-reg side tracking down Purple Man and losing. Purple Man ran off to Canada and someone (can't remember who) told USAgent that a lot of villains were making a run for Canada and that he was being assigned to the Great White North to help.

Aunt May got shot, went into a coma, and MIGHT die.
Nick Fury can't even go outside to buy cigars or HE'LL get shot.
The President of the United States appointed Tony Stark head of an agency that's supposed to be under the control of the United Nations.

And Captain Mar-vell isn't dead.
--that's up there with Bucky not being dead, AFAIC.

When our story opens, the Question is investigating an impossible locked-room murder mystery involving a midget and a 6'6"-tall call girl into heavy bondage. Don't worry, I'll explain later. It's all vitally relevant.
