well, yeah, Ravage 2099 did suck, but it was worse after Stan left it.
Let's not even talk about the DC titles published under the "Stan Lee Re-imagines" series. He took DC characters and gave them the old Stan Lee spin. They were just as successful as the "Who Wants to be a Superhero" TV show!! So yeah, Stan is more of an icon than anything else, though he hasn't been "in the zone" since 1969.

I thought Stan Lee meets Spider-Man was pretty funny. I think Stan's writing can still be enjoyed if it's in full crazy mode where he basically writes a really stupid story with hokey dialog. I am a little worried about how that Fantastic Four: The End story is supposed to work out since it supposed to be a little more serious, but at least the art will be pretty on it.
Alan Davis' is already done. There's going to be a second one by Stan Lee and John Romita Jr. later this year. They wanted to space them out a little bit.

A sequel to FF: The End?
Okay, that's just stupid. doesn't that sort of fly in the face of the very point of these End stories?
Who Wants to be a Superhero was about as successful as you could expect a reality TV show to be when it's not on a major net work.
Excluator!
Actually, I think that "Who Wants 2B" created a new standard for sheer waste of time for reality TV. Seriously, of all reality TV shows that I have seen, by far this one was the worst - and I am a card-carrying member of Comic Book Geeks of America. You could have put this show on prime time in the highest-rated network in the nation, and it still would stink (in spite of its campiness factor.) Alas, Stan Lee.... yet another turkey from your dilapidated house of ideas.

Not in Marvel Comics, where "The End" really means "The End until we can cash in on another End". Death has a revolving door in the Marvel Universe.

It isn't really a sequel, more like an alternative. The stories won't be connected aside from them both featuring the Fantastic Four in their final adventure. Think of them as alternate reality stories I guess.
Wasn't it Stan Lee who said:
" I wrote 10 titles a month and they all came out on time?"
I think what he actually said was "I wrote 10 titles a day and they all came out on time ... EXCLUATOR!"
