Thanks for all the suggestions. I ended up going with a V Juggernaut, V Sage+BT+Nano, V Blink+TK Reach, V Captain Britain, U Longshot, and E Wolverine with a custom AOA Sabretooth on the dial+Auto Regen.
I almost ran a West Coast Avengers supporting NGN Iron Man, but it was too similar to other teams I've run lately. And I think next week is a Compel team, because there have been some great Compel suggestions.

the structure looks like this

where
B-Blackhawk
C-Con Artist
G - Green Lantern
U - U-men

Perplex your range to 12, your attacks should be 14 or better, your damage will be 5 stay mobile carrying everybody and don't let anyone near you. Fill out the points with close combat pieces.

Optionally you can replace many pieces with more efficient version. this is a brutally fun tactic I call the spinning blades of death.

Watch out for Energy explosion.
