Ooooooh. OK. Though how an unborn child can withstand a nuke when the mother's body basically turns to ash is confusing at best. I don't know how they're gonna pull this one off, but I guess I'll have to read and see for myself. * shrugs *
Maybe it has something to do with alien gestation and birthing? Who knows.
Doesn't sound too bad. I'll pick up the trade for this when it comes out. Just seems like a basic "status quo" save. Haven't had one of those in awhile, lol!
I liked WWH#5 but this issue seems sorta rushed to me.
Incredible Hulk #111 will either fill in the gaps or be set before Sentry enters.
**SPOILERS**
To just have Miek come out and blurt that he knew who blew up the ship on Sakaar that killed Hulk's wife without really going into much detail as to why seemed sorta an easy way out-I don't know, maybe it's just me.
KWAGLOOOOOM!
And the fight with Sentry was kewl, but it ended a little "anti-climatic" didn't it?
They just beat on each other until they wore each other out and turned back into their alter egos.
Then Stark gets to bag Banner and be the hero.
The US Army is gonna go medieval on him I think.
Especially Gen Ross.

Except now we have the son of Hulk somewhere in the universe, multiple "Warbound" on Earth, and a huge mess to clean up.
As for Banner vs Roberts, you can see that Banner was lucky enough to connect the punch first, who knows what would have happened, if Roberts would have hit Banner first? But I'm happy that they decided to give the victory to Banner.
And yes, Rick Jones didn't die, he was carried to an ambulance in life support, so he's basically still alive.
As for Skaar, seen as how Hulk's blood and the planet of Sakaar already had a weird connection, it's possible that the baby somehow survived, and was able to grow older thanks to the planet.

Or......
The baby was carried into the far future, where the planet is being run by a despotic ruler who had infect the baby with a virus that the gamma radiation is keeping in check. The baby was raised by a weird couple, one with one eye and the other a red head. Anyhow, the baby grows to adulthood in the future, but then travels back in time to try to thwart the despotic ruler before he came to power. Then they can go from there.
From what i read, Skaar will be a 12 issue run, written by Pak and some other fellah. Apparently Skaar grew out of some green pool of goo (ya kinda gross when you think about it) and is now gonna travel around Planet Sakaar like conan the barbarian style. Sounds kinda cool. Apparently Hercules is gonna take over the Incredible Hulk title for awhile, fine by me since he has Cho tagging along with. And finally i havent heard much about how Hulk (red hulk) originates, mums the word about this one.
WWH #5 was pretty freakin sweet as it ended but yet left all sorts of avenues that Marvel can write stories to help tie the loose ends. And ya im kinda ticked that ol Tony made the save when Hulk started doing la coocooracha after meik shanked rick jones. As if Tony needed to feel high and mighty.
Well, now that Bruce Banner is imprisoned deep under the Earth inside a miniature Red Sun Eater, I guess this means that the Sinestro Corps is going to bust him out at some point...
Oh, wait, wrong universe. But what is up with the 'red beams'? Did I miss something about a ring of Anti-Hulk Satellites orbiting the planet? Was this in one of multiple crossovers that I didn't bother reading?

Think that was just Stark hi-jacking every satellite in orbit, and magically, they all have "anti-missile" lasers.

You just know, that the next event will be Hulk: Prison.... Escape. That's where Rick Jones goes to jail (Gamma River Penitentiary), and he gains the trust of this group of different individuals. Let's call them Warbound to keep it simple. But Rick isn't interested in the Warbound, he's only using them in order to get the Hulk free. See, he has this tattoo in his body, and he's using that to help them with their escape. But the group has a lot of problems, there's this wannabe-snitch called Marvel Boy that wants to escape too. Not to mention inside the group there's also a troublemaker called No-Name Brood (You can call him Theodore), and even though "Theo" here loses an arm, it doesn't make him any less dangerous. And if that isn't enough, there's this government agent called Tony Stark waiting to hunt them is they do manage to escape. But Tony as well has a deep secret, he has a drug problem, caused by a nasty event in his history, called the Civil War.
Could be worse. "Shanked" being a prison term, it could've been more like a prison scene, and Miek could've made Rick Jones his "bride".
One can almost picture the shower scene now, as Rick drops the soap then bends over to pick it up... uh-oh.

And Roberts said "Thank you" to Banner after burning out with the Sentry's power. I think it was an example where the Sentry was completely out of control and was actually happy to lose because he didn't like where he was going.
However, I agree that Hulk/Banner needed to win that fight.
I don't think Stark's zappy power did a damn thing.
It was all about what the Hulk CHOSE. He chose to just give it up, saying f--- it, I'm done.
At least that's what I'm calling.
I think it's a combination of the two. Hulk did choose to give up, and he then allowed Stark to attack him with the "zappy power" to do whatever they did to him.

That's no worse then what Miek must do with the Brood. And we actually know that happened...
